The whole process of installing the charger was quick and smooth. It took less than 30 minutes to fill all the forms, get a quote and arrange a booking. The electrician, who installed the charger, was professional
and helpful. The charger was quite far away from the fuse board, but the electrician found a way to make all the cables unnoticeable.
We have been using the charger for three months now without any problems. Recommended.

Zappi 2 installation
Zappi 2 with built-in wi-fi and harvi installed. Excellent support from Rachel and Nicola from initial enquiries to installation . Helpful and informative. Very professional neat install .Would recommend to anyone looking for a Zappi installation where you happen to be on a looped supply.

McNally supplied and installed a Zappi EV charger. The installer was brilliant. Efficient, neat and friendly. I was particularly impressed with the way he identified the least disruptive route for the cabling. Would definitely recommend.

My experience has been extremely unpleasant. Office staff was polite and responsive, but the installation which matters, was poorly done. My brick was damaged, things were left dusty and dirty, solar wire left wrapped around the mains board instead of chanelling,the exterior hole was left to elements and not even sealed among others. On top of this, the installer was extremely rude and used bad language.Stay away at all costs, do not install with this company.

My experience with this company has unfortunately been a truly unpleasant one. They are not as specialised in ev chargers as they claim to be. Last October, after sending the requested details of my property to McNally for best installation of the charger, 6 weeks later they recommended and installed a great unit but the cable was too short (the installation spot was decided by the engineer as my preferred spot was deemed not ideal by the engineer). I was having to reverse the car close up to the front door to charge it. This should have been my cue to find an other installer who knew what they were doing. Following a series of complaint calls, they recommended a much expensive charger which I was prepared to pay for as long as it was fit for purpose and adequate for my property. 4 months later, they came back to swap the chargers. I immediately made payment but about a month later, they sent another invoice charging me separately for another installation when what their engineer did was swap the chargers. Oh, by the way, the new charger came with a longer cable and charges the car but does it's own thing as it constantly loses wi-fi connection. It’s a lot more expensive as it has features that I do not need like working with solar panels which I do not have.

My general impression is that I was made to pay for their inadequacy and poor assessment given that they called themselves specialists.
Customer support was unhelpful, quick to send repeated invoices but ignores to send payment acknowledgement.

I had a Rolec home charger fitted by MacNally 4 years ago, the fitter drove of and left me with no electric.
Last September the charger stopped working and I was told by MacNallys it would need a new contact unit, and would be done by December this didn’t happen I called 4 times January and February and was told on each occasion I would receive a call back this also didn’t happen eventually I got a call. My part turned up in March and an electrician turned up to fit it all seemed well I left my car on charger overnight, in the morning unplugged and the front panel of the charger almost came completely off, upon further inspection I found out of the 6 retainer screws only three had been replaced and one of them was loose.
I emailed MacNally to complain but got no response.

EV charging is completely new technology to us and were extremely pleased with the service provided by McNally EV right from the initial enquiry through to installation. They were very professional, thorough, helpful and explained clearly all aspects of this new technology. They dealt promptly with any issues with our electric provider, completed any forms required and followed these up on our behalf.... they were great. We would, without hesitation, recommend McNally EV as we received a First Class service from them, the product is great and our installation was carried out without any issues. We are so confident with this company that we have decided to use them to install solar panels. McNally EV put the customer first and give you confidence you are employing a good company.

Overall a disappointing experience. Charger fitted late October 21 and by February 22 it had stopped working. Took 3 weeks for an appointment for an engineer to come out for him to arrive with no parts so could not resolve issue. Being told that they always have issues with the type of charger I have and wouldn't recommend, didn't really help the situation! Now back in a queue for parts to be ordered, delivered and another appointment to be booked. Meanwhile I've got a £1000 worth of kit on the wall that doesn't work and I'm having to charge my car from a plug out the front door. Customer service is really disappointing - very little interest in resolving the issue or even recognising my dissatisfaction. I appreciate things don't happen immediately but even an update call would be appreciated.

Zappi home charger installed. Very professional experience, offered me a quote and install date quickly. I had a couple of queries before installation about the different chargers available and I was able to ring them on several occasions to get professional advice and they seemed genuinely happy to help. The original installation, unfortunately had to be cancelled, due to the engineer having had an accident, but McNally's contacted me straight away by phone to explain and a few days later rang with a new installation date to fit in with my availability. The engineers who came were on time, very friendly and respectful and the installation has been done neatly. Can't wait for my ev to arrive next month (fingers crossed) then I can start my journey into the world of ev motoring.

Easee One Socketed EV Charging Unit

The fitters were great - all went smoothly on the day and two really nice lads.

Some delay due to uncertainty re the ‘meter tails’ and whether they needed upgrading in addition to the fuse. (The fuse cost us an additional £140 with Northern Power Grid). We discussed the ‘tails’ issue with our own electrician and later the guy from Siemens (contracted by NPG); the latter confirmed that an upgrade to 25mm tails is unnecessary if the fuse is below 100 amps (our new fuse is 80 amps).

Glad to finally be up and running and all going well - our hybrid GLC battery charges in 1.5 hours👍.

Had problems because my power supply was looped but McNally did every thing got in touch with Power Grid for me and it was sorted, install was great, lads did great job, no mess in home would have given more stars.

Your service start to finish has been second to none. Engineer was fab and left it very clean.

Had 4 points installed at our workplace, this involved groundwork and reinstating tarmac. The engineers were fast, friendly, efficient and tidied up after themselves!

Got a quote for an Indra Smart Pioneer on 21st Dec, as they were seemingly the only installers to offer this product. It took them over a month to give me an install date, which was in late February. Two weeks before install I was told they're no longer installing the Smart Pioneer as they weren't happy with the product, so I reluctantly agreed to go for the Smart Pro instead. Then four days before install they tell me they don't have it in stock and couldn't say when it would be back. Now they're ringing me asking for a different customer. What a farce. Compare this to eFaraday who have it in stock and immediately gave me an install date a mere two weeks away.

I'd heard that getting an EV charger was a time consuming, frustrating process but that wasn't the case.
Communication from McNallyEV was clear and the process was easy. The installer was friendly and did a great job.
