Thank you for the response. Indeed, there were many people attending, I guess around 30 or more. It took place two weeks ago. I do think we used the newest version, at least the one available back then. I will be happy to try meethour again in a smaller circle with not so much pressure and appreciate your taking care and working on it. Best, Anna

I was impressed!

I had good video and audio for the meeting. Two logins had difficulty with sound initially, but they were able to remedy this themselves. What really impressed me was the login from a travelling car about four or so hours away from my location. Audio and picture cut out a little bit but only for small seconds. The connection was far better than I imagined it should be for a travelling vehicle.

Great idea, but not so great execution

Sadly I offered meet hour to meet in group.
But the quality of the sound was not great, there was an echo. And getting started felt very complicated. We had to switch to another platform.

ARGH, the awful noise!!!

Once I opened the meeting and admitted the other party, we heard, blasted at an ungodly pitch and sound level, the ugliest squeeze and noise, I had to immediately end and go back to Zoom.

If it’s the notification tone, please note that it’s designed to alert the host when someone joins while they’re outside the meeting window. However, this can be disabled while scheduling the meeting if preferred.

Minor problem with virtual background

Excellent experience. The only thing that could be improved is that when I used one of the virtual backgrounds, the outline of my head was continually fuzzy because in real life the background was dark brown and my hair is dark brown, apparently because of a difficult distinguishing between them. FWIW, Zoom for example does not have this problem but I really like meethour and so does the friend I was testing it with.

Herramienta confiabale y versátil con excelente relación calidad / precio que todos deberían usar

Llevo cuatro meses y medio usando Meet Hour, vengo de plataformas como: Zoom (la usé desde inicios de pandemia hasta 2023 más o menos), Microsoft Teams (un par de veces y por mucho la menos “amigable con los usuarios” para mi), Google Meet y Sessions (las últimas que usaba desde 2023, antes de Meet Hour) Puedo decir en términos generales que es una herramienta muy recomendada y confiable para la mayoría de casos de uso, en lo personal la uso para reuniones del día a día y para dar clases o capacitaciones a clientes y alumnos.

Destaco lo siguiente:

- Interfaz muy sencilla y amigable con los usuarios.
- Posibilidad de acceder sin requerir cuentas para los asistentes.
- Calidad muy estable de audio y video durante transmisiones.
- Fácil de configurar en términos generales.
- Tiene todas las herramientas básicas necesarias para varios escenarios de uso: Reuniones del día a día, presentar propuestas, dar clases, etc. Como: Compartir pantalla, ventanas abiertas, navegador y sus pestañas, pizarra blanca, chat, etc. Todo lo básico y más.
- Bien documentado y con hoja de ruta pública.
- Relación calidad / precio muy competitivo.
- Equipo de soporte atento y rápido.
- Se puede compartir pantalla desde Ipad

Podría mejorar en estas áreas:

- Interfaz sólo en inglés
- Versión móvil puede mejorar en términos visuales.
- Algunas opciones de personalización disponibles sólo si se paga un extra.
- Analíticas globales (total de la cuenta) no disponibles, sólo limitadas.
- Captación de correos y nombres de usuarios que asisten automática no disponible para todos los tipos de uso. Si se pueden pedir estos datos para entrar a una reunión o evento, pero no se almacenan automáticamente. Hay que hacerlo manualmente o a través de pre inscripción.
