I expected a premium experience from a company that charges premium prices, but Melin completely dropped the ball. My first order was cancelled due to courier issues. They did apply a replacement order to my account, but communication throughout the process was almost nonexistent.

Shipping delays were blamed on the courier, yet no tracking updates or clear timelines were ever provided. Then days later, I received an email saying the color I originally chose was no longer available. At this point, it just felt like no one at Melin had a handle on my order.

For a brand positioning itself as high-end, the service was anything but. Extremely disappointed — won’t be ordering again.

Melin's website is the slowest worst website to navigate. Whoever Designed and coded their website should be ashamed of themselves. Stopped me in my tracks on a purchase.

I was excited to order my first cap from Melin... however the wrong item was sent out to me, I had to then return it...

I then had to chase 3/4 times to find out when the correct item would be sent... they admitted they missed to return and the need to replace/exchange...

So 2 errors, several chasers and over 3 weeks in and still no cap...

They respond to emails quickly, which is why I have given 2 stars.

But the service has been poor all the while they have my payment.. but I have no cap.

Very disappointed.

I first found Melin because I have an XL head and most XL caps I could find looked pretty dull. I had a holiday to the Caribbean coming up so know I needed a cap. The price put me off at first, but I stuck with it and got one of their Hydro caps as it said it was fully waterproof. It was in and out of the water, swimming pools and the ocean as well as at the beach and under really hot sun... and... it's basically as good as it was when I unboxed it. I've hand washed it and it's come up as new every time.
I rarely review a product, but think these guys deserve a shout out as the hat is great. Only downside - the packaging wasn't exactly premium (if you care about that kind of thing) and I didn't have to use customer support (which other people seem to have an issue with). Will be buying another at Christmas for family.

Best caps I have ever bought.
After 2 years of owning Melin brand caps, I will never buy another brand. The quality is insane and they have a fantastic range of styles. Water resistance really does work and they are nice and breathable in summer. I have 8 in total now. Well worth the extra money. Only thing I miss is you used to get carry pouches with each hat which they have since stopped but I do have enough of them now I guess!

I ordered a hat from them and inputted the wrong address. I messaged/emailed them right after and did not receive any response after a few days. For a “premium” price point company, you would expect them to have better customer service. I wouldn’t ever recommend them and will be returning the hats.

Worst when it comes to advertising any promos. Promo banners did not include an “exclusion” clause as well as any sponsored ad posts on Instagram did not include any “exclusion” clause which should be stated clearly.

Their chat bot on their website provided the wrong info and missed key info about any exclusions … careful when checking out for your purchase and make sure you look at EVERYTHING because they will definitely get you. You can find similar quality hats for cheaper.

The hat is excellent. I had to exchange mine but having moved away I couldn’t send my hat back. After sharing a photo they have sent a new one. Excellent customer service and an excellent product

I've been a ball cap guy for decades, but could never find a hat that fit me well, looked great and was of great quality. Until Melin. They are pricey at $70 or more each, but since I found them, that's all I wear. I have 9 Odyssey style hats and a new one is coming in the mail. They have several styles and lots of colors now. They also do limited runs. As close to perfect as I've ever found

Ive bought a cap from Melin and it resulted of very high quality, well worth the high price . The size was correct as suggested by the size chart
I’ve had a problem with custom taxes that were applied at the custom, that should not have been applied
I’ve contacted Melin customer service and they promptly credited them back to my PayPal account

Most disappointed with the lack of response from the one email address you’re given! Ordered a cap for my husbands birthday a week ago, offered to pay more for fast delivery (as it’s his birthday today) not even a response! He’s now not got a birthday present and my order update hasn’t moved from ‘order placed’. If you need quick delivery DO NOT ORDER! Really disappointed!

Customer service like it's the 70's at Nordstrom. I am pretty sure they would let me return a set of tires for store credit. You have a problem with your item, sizing, maybe a hangover? They fix it immediately. They should sell whatever they're putting in the Kool-Aid in their CS Department bc I would buy it.

Also, as a small business owner, my 2 experiences with them reminds me of how much going overboard for your clients makes them lifelong committed buyers.

The hats are brilliantly engineered. they withstand weekly machine washing after sport. The color hasn't faded in my most used navy colored hat one bit. The bill is still perfectly shaped too, which this is the first hat to survive such a beating. I'm officially a hat snob now.

Great caps for the large headed gentlemen.

Was looking for a better cap for golf, and my biggest issue was sweating alot.

Although I didn't have a chance to test out how cool my head stays on hot days, the feel and fit of this cap are superb.

Bit pricey yes, but I can foresee myself wearing this cap at all times.

The service is impeccable as well. Huge shout to Kim who handled my request professionally, and manage to resolve it in less than a day.

So far, 1 cap in and waiting on another one.

Feels like a quality hat but it comes down too low and hits your ears. No matter what I do it looks crooked. Returning it

$60 for a hat that’s made in China. Wow…
You would think at that price they could have it made in the US, especially with all of the ‘California’ advertising.
I can only imagine the profit they’re making by choosing a country known for poor quality and actively committing genocide

Melin rules! I got the best hat. Little pricey. But, it is worth it because it is made well.
