In general, they did a nice job of guiding me through the process. It took some hunting to figure out just how to navigate the process. The formatting options are limited and the books are expensive.

Memories with Music

The thing that separates memorygram from all the others is the music. No better way than to view memories of our loved one with a song. It’s another way to “feel” our loved ones. The medallion and dog tag are beautiful and certainly made to last. Customer service responded promptly to any questions and issues regarding my order. Good experience!

Incredible level of support

I just submitted my final story for publication in my book so I cannot comment on the book itself. What I can comment on is the thoughtful questions that are proposed as well as the option of adding your own questions. Most important was the incredible level of support I received from their staff when I had questions about submissions and the actual layout of the book. They offered timely responses and specific responses to my questions. Thanks for the help. I can’t wait to see my grandsons’book!

Received book-disappointef

Received book. It wasn't even put in order. I had labeled chapter 1 etc. hoping company would print book in chapter order,but NO. Entire book print in backwards order. Very disappointed.

Not Impressed

Memorygram has been a huge headache to work with. I bought two accounts and then was unable to login to manage either one of them and it took well over a week to even get my login sorted out and for both accounts I had purchased to show up. The refund period is conveniently set at seven days, so by the time the login and account access hurdle was sorted out, I was no longer eligible for a refund.

The memorygram website is poorly put together, making it difficult to organize questions as to when you want them scheduled to be sent or to rearrange the question order after you add them into the "upcoming questions" que. It's strange that this aspect of the website is so thoughtlessly constructed, because question planning and organization is the main thing you do as the person who oversees the users you purchased the accounts for.

I would not recommend this website to anyone. It would be easier to make your own list of questions and email one each week to the person of your choosing, compiling the info at the end to make a book yourself. If I knew how poor of a user experience this was going to be, I would have never paid for this half-assed "service."

Still waiting for Service

05/05/25 why do you say this was resolved. It was not resolved. You never repronted and sent after you sent with the wrong name printed. I have screen shots of me trying to resolve. THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE! AND MOST UNTRUTHFUL. YOU NEVER REPLIED TO BBB. First, I paid for copies but when I went to print my book it only had 1 credit. I emailed and had to wait for them to add another. I've been trying to print my book but their site just keeps spinning. I've been emailing and calling for a week but no one has bothered to fix the issue. I'm quite disappointed as this was a gift for my twin granddaughters first birthday. Being a "family" business you would think they would appreciate that.

Can't Get the Actual Book

I paid for a book as a gift and gave it to my father. My father took the time over the past 11 months to write out his story. Their online portal keeps asking us to pay for the book again, even though we have already done so. I have been emailing customer service for a month now, and have not received a solution. Our subscription runs out soon, and we have yet to receive the final book product. I guess they are hoping we'll cave and pay again, but it is not right.

To clarify: if a printed book was included with your original gift purchase, there is no need to pay again—your book credit should still be available, even after the subscription expires. It sounds like the system may not have applied the credit at checkout, which can usually be fixed by selecting the “Apply Credit” option during the ordering process.

Memorygram provided excellent customer support

Memorygram is an excellent website and a useful tool for writing a legacy book. However, due to changing personal circumstances, I decided I would request the 7 day refund option and re-subscribe at a later date.
Customer support replied to my request within a few hours and my refund was processed the same day.

Mother's Day Scam

UPDATE: - After posting my original 1* rating, I am editing my Review. I received a phone call from one of the Founders (Paul) who was able to resolve my problems withing 10 minutes. He provided some addtional information and offered an addtional copy of the book as an apology for the trouble. I appreciate his time and effort and do think this is a wonderful product. The company may need a little additional training for the Customer Service staff, however. Overall, I would recommend this to others and believe my experience was an anomaly.

Edited Original Post - I received this as a Mother's Day gift a few weeks ago. I logged in the first week and devoted over 6 hours over a period of 3 days in writing the first story, then my account disappeared. All of my profile information, the pending questions my children set up for me to respond to and my completed story. I've contacted Customer Service by email 4 different times. The first 2 times I recieved comments saying they were "escalating" or they will provide a "full accounting". They give the impression of being AI generated responses. The next 2 emails have gone unanswered. Multiple calls have reached a busy signal and one went through to a voicemail who is identified as "This Google Subscriber" (not even an identification of the company).

The rest of the Original Review has been removed due to the extraordinary efforts to resolve my issue.

Grandmother passed away.

Update: Staff has issued me a refund and offered to switch the current membership to a new family member. They were very communicative and wanted to make things right.

Grandmother passed about 1 month into the purchase - we hadn't been able to answer a single question, let alone print any physical copy.

I asked for a refund, if they needed evidence, or anything, and they refused.

I would have figured a company in this "area" would be better suited to dealing with these situations.

Edit: to their response below - I have responded to their emails. They told me it is within their policy to issue a refund in this situation. Yet, they have not issued a refund to me. They want me to change or delete my review - I said, I would consider that if they issued the refund to me.

Quick Refund and Apology

I tried to order the service. It is the only one I found that is located in the US,and I liked their offerings. But I had trouble with the final step. I emailed and got an answer, but still couldn't get it to work.

I emailed them later outlining the problem and asked for a refund.
I promptly received an apology and refund. I was so impressed with their quick action.
I will definitely use this company again.
