Merry People Avis 

I purchased the Bobbi boot at the end of August 2023. A fabulous waterproof boot for the wet Devonshire countryside. I have used them for long and short walks in all terrains. Easy to get on and off, once broken in a little. The inner sole tends to come out when you do remove your foot, which is a little annoying as it becomes crumpled. More annoying is that they haven’t lasted much over a year. They have split across the top, just behind the toes, and are no longer water proof. They have been well cared for. Not left in sunlight, cleaned with only water. I have other boots from Hunter, Barbour, Aigle, that I have had for decades, and at similar price range, that are still going. A real shame as I won’t be looking to purchase from this brand again. Not sustainable or good value for money. As someone else said, it’s maybe a cute commuter, walk in the park once in a while type boot.

Merry People make seriously wonderful products, my go to for gardening clogs which are comfortable and keep my feet from aching after a days hard work. Love the boots in winter. Good reliable service. And to add to that they donated teachers in Rochester working in demountables in a sea of mud a pair of boots! Real heart and ethics in how they do business.

Absolutely gutted! I have had Bobbi boots in the basket for over 6 months, waiting for my birthday treat. I have always had muck boots and when I found merry people I was really drawn to the bright colours. Today they arrived, very excited to try them yet found them difficult to put on. I wasn’t put off and decided to wear them for my doggy walk. Sadly they really hurt my feet, so uncomfortable that I had pain and pins and needles, so I took them off and walked back with just my socks, not a great advertisement!
Really disappointed, I am sure they are a great boot yet clearly my feet did not enjoy them today. I will try again tomorrow, with spare boots this time and hope they are better, as I simply cannot afford to buy others for a while. 🙄

My boots are comfortable, practical and stylish.

Litterly the best shoes ever! I got them very last minute before a trip to Scandinavia in winter. I have worn them EVERYWHERE AND EVERYDAY im.talking snow ice on a boat and my feet have not been sore, wet or cold once. Chuck on a pair of wool socks on and even in the -15 they were great. No issues walking through snow, mud, rain puddles through the cities. I slipped once in the 5 weeks I was away. My only regret was putting the second pair of shoes on my bag Incase these weren't comfortable. The second pair took up valuable shopping space and weight!

Order 112227. I don’t usually buy ankle boots because I have wide calves and they’re usually uncomfortable. My Bobbi Wellington boots Are the most comfortable, amazing, dog walking boots I have. I am thrilled to bits with them and highly recommend them to others.

Quick delivery. Boots are comfortable on the feet and easy getting in and out. However, its quite painful around ankle on the shin. I read other reviews and replies apparently this will wear off. This reminds me ARE YOU BEING SERVED...it will ride with wear
For £99 i would expect better as the pain prevents me to wear it more, just manage 30 mins at this monent last 2 weeks. Shame as the boots are really good otherwise. Hence 3 stars! Sorry

What a fantastic product. Stylish and practical. First rate customer service.

They were nice at first, but fell apart after one year. Worn on rainy days in the city (not even out in muddy fields), and the pull tab on the back of the boot broke. The heel is coming off and there's also a massive hole. I would have expected more from a boot in this price range. If I had spend £20 I would have shrugged it off, but £85 is a lot for a product to fall apart so quickly. I would advise looking at other brands if you want a pair of wellies that will last you longer than 12 months.

EDIT 2: Merry People got through to me and said I must have had a defective model so they have replaced them. The boots do have minor differences, so I don't know if my original ones were cheaply produced by their third party manufacturers? I'll see how these hold up

I love these. Quality fantastic. Colour fab. They look really trendy and I don’t feel or look like I’m wearing wellies. I’m not 100% about the sizing as everyone said there was plenty of room. I haven’t found this at all I can only wear thin socks with them as usual thicker socks made them sooo tight. I am a size 4 and these are a small Size 4. I do love them tho.
Merry People have responded to my review with the following which I will definitely try.
“We do recommend a snug fit to start, as there is quite a bit of give in the natural rubber. A great little trick is to take out the innersole while you are wearing them in and you can pop it back once they soften with wear.”

Fantastic service and product. Best money I’ve spent in a while.

Didn’t really use my Bobbi boots to start with, they were for going to the bins and odd garden bits.

Then started using them for dog walks, not even 3 months in and the soles have split on both boots away from the sole, crease has discoloured and the rubber is splitting.

These are only ‘Instagram worthy’ boots, have no durability sadly, company spending money on good marketing, poor product.

I bought a pair of tall wellies, just christened them.. love them! Warm & spongy, good grip on muddy ground. As per the reviews i sized up.. i am a uk6 but went for 7, they felt a little sloppy on first try but with chunky socks they are perfect, nicely fitted around the ankle so they felt secure.

Why so expensive when made in China? Goods manufactured in China at very low cost, but company profits are huge due to exorbitant retail prices

I love my boots, so comfy and toasty warm , out dog walking twice a day, wish I had bought them sooner, a very small gripe the tab for pulling them on could maybe be looked at in production, maybe something you can more easily get your finger through a little easier,don’t let that put you of , I’m pretty old and not very dexterous

The boots are uncomfortable and lack grip. The company advised me the boots are not meant for wear in challenging conditions which is odd as their website describes that they are about: "finding your own unique adventure, embracing the unknown and enjoying the journey" - as long as your unique adventure does not include a desire for comfort or a need for grip you should be fine. I think they are a commuter boot. They may keep your feet dry on a short walk to the station but that is it.

Boots arrived next day after ordering and kept well informed. Feel good quality but found them difficult to get on over my ankles. With a bit of pulling they got on and were really comfortable but really difficult getting them on. Was advised to size down for half sizes and are true to size just ankle seems to be the incorrect shape on the Tully boot. I will order more though as they do seem good quality and really comfortable when they are on.

Had my wellies delivered quickly and had them a few months now and they get worn loads.

Plenty of tracking info so was happy with them.
