Crap Service

I made contact with reps for Middletons in June 2022 at Yeovilton when they had another stand - I explained how my son's recliner was incorrectly built; the rep at that time gave me her card to send photos of the chair with my son in it, which I done that evening. Her reply not long after was 'still trying to get in touch with 'someone' regarding the chair. I was asked for my post code? sent that have not heard anything since - no after sales service - no telephone calls - no nothing - my advice : find a reputable company for a recliner that gives good after sales service because Middletons don't give a damn! OH! by the way they had confirmation that the chair was
one of theirs through the order and payment invoice
I produced!

Tire been flat for over 2 weeks

Hi iam miss sara hockell I wish to make a formal COMPLATE as I requested a repair to my scooter last year. For flat tire and I'm still waiting and I can't get out as. I suffer with legs problems 😪

Absolutely shocking service

Absolutely shocking service. I purchased a reconditioned mobility scooter from them for my wife mid August this year.
I tried to fully charge the scooter before she used it but it wouldn't charge. The battery charger was showing green indicating it was fully charged when the indicator on the scooter itself was less than half charged.
Since then I've had 3 engineer visits, the first one travelled from Bradford to my home in Northumberland only to look at the scooter and say it needs a new battery then promptly left,!
So today I took delivery of a new battery charger and its still not charging.
Just come off the phone from middletons and now I'm expecting my fourth engineer visit.
So nearly 2 months since delivery and the scooter has not been used

After having a bad experience with scs we decided to visit Yr shop very impressed and a warm welcome with the kind help off Ann finding suitable chair for my mother the service was first class delivered same day I would recommend this shop for care they have for the elderly most impressed.

Mobility Purchase

My wife has developed serious mobility issues over the last few years and finally decided to try an electric shopper. Gail at the Cheltenham store was more than helpful in trying out the chair in the spacious shop and outside in the carpark. Thank you Gail

My sister-in-law

My sister-in-law, a 66 year old disabled lady purchased a £3000 scooter last year. The machine had never worked correctly leaving her stranded on several occasions. She has made numerous requests for help from customer relations all with negative affect. She had four visit from engineers with the wrong replacement parts and on the last occasion (07/09/2022) no screws..!!
To add insult to injury having left an unfavourable comment on the company Facebook page she received a call informing her that her comment had been removed and if she had any complaints she should contact them.
This company is a disgrace and should not be trusted with your money.
Don’t trust them and look for someone else.

First Class Service!

Needing a mobility scooter, but not knowing much about them, I made an appointment to visit the Burton-on-Trent Middletons' store on 24 August 2022. "Lynda" provided expert, professional advice and obviously had very good product knowledge. There was no pressure and she took details so as to provide the best options for me to consider. I was given the opportunity to try out a scooter and ride around the stores to verify that it would suit my needs (which it did). The scooter in question was able to be dismantled to permit easy transfer into a car boot and Lynda demonstrated how this was done. After I had decided to purchase a scooter, Lynda clearly itemised the options including the price of the scooter, insurance and warranty extension so that I could decide what I wanted. Overall, excellent service well above and beyond what I expected and I can thoroughly recommend Burton Middletons if you need to buy a mobility scooter. Very well done, Lynda.

This is the second time we have been to…

This is the second time we have been to the Stoke shop. well it was Kate she was over joyed to see the wife and myself.
Kate asked why we had call in I said so you can pick my packet Kate just laughed .
In the end Kate did we bought a bed for the wife.

Went to Burton on trent store greeted by Rhoda who straight way offered us a drink and asked what we were looking for showed us boot scooters and how to disassemble them nothing was to much trouble and at any time did not feel pressured wonderful experience and came out with one that fitted my needs and was within budget thank you Rhoda you are a credit to the firm

Excellent Service

We went into the Burton on Trent store to be greeted by Lynda who was very pleasant and asked how she could be of help. It was a boot scooter we were looking for she showed us the scooters demonstrated how to assemble it and everything we needed to know it's capabilities with regard to distance and speed and also explained the insurance, there was no pressure selling she was very professional nothing was too much trouble we were encouraged to try out
several scooters whilst in the shop.
Lynda was very kind and helpful I would certainly recommend Middletons to anyone looking for any disability aids the furniture was very nice too.
Thankyou Lynda we may see you again in the near future.

Middleton's Radyr visit

We visited Middleton's in Radyr on Sunday and met Katie.
She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the products and we felt completely at ease .
We are looking forward to getting our chairs

Poor value for money.

Considering what the last two years have been like for places like this I expected better service and better food for the extra money I was paying.
Starters were okay, came out within 10 min of ordering, the Piri Piri wings (£6) were a bit on the bland side.
I also ordered 'The Middleton'' steak burger + chicken + BBQ pork + chips £14.00
Mains arrived easily 40 minutes after finishing starters.
Tiny pot of about 15 chips, burger steak and chicken were overcooked and dry,,, No sign of any BBQ Pork, one lone onion ring.
'10% Optional service charge' Nobody gave me the option!!!
Standards have certainly slipped over the years since I started visiting the original restaurant.
Pretty poor.

Just popped into the Exeter store for a…

Just popped into the Exeter store for a browse at the scooters and we were welcomed by a lovely Christmas display a young man called Nick who was very nice and informative. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a scooter with great customer service.
