Mid Florida RV Avis 11

I have rented from Mid Florida RV once a year for more than five years. This past year’s rental has shown that the inventory is getting more and more beat up but the prices continue to rise. We paid more than $3000 for a six day rental for a unit that was supposed to sleep five.

When delivered (six hours late on a 6-day rental) we did not know but the RV’s propane was disconnected due to a leaking regulator. We went three days with no refrigerator, no oven/stove, no hot water, and most importantly, no heat when the temps dropped below 40 degrees.

I’ve always recommended Mid Florida in the past because they have come out to fix things when they are broken but sending an RV out with a disconnected / broken propane tank is not ok.

The RV was really beat up with broken shelves in the broken fridge, the dining table was too wobbly to support any weight so we couldn’t put cups on it. I can’t imagine how it would have supported an adult trying to sleep on it if we made it into a bed. Instead, we made two grown men (not related to each other) share the over-cab bunk.

We had been promised an RV the same or comparable to the past rental, and instead we were given one with only one tiny slide out, when before we’ve had a longer RV with multiple slides. We were even charged more than the daily rate that is shown on the website.

I’m leaving two stars because in the past they have treated us well, but this was really a one-star rental. I hope they are able to fix these shortcomings because customers should have a local option over the “big guys” out there, but right now, I can’t recommend using their services.

Great customer service nice people just not so sure about the rv we had I don’t think they inspected it very well before we took it, lots of little issues and TVs and outlets not working and seemed like nobody knew that while going through in person inspection. For me it was more of a safety issue for me. The furnace was giving off a gassy smell which caused the alarm to go off randomly, it didn’t heat up very well so we slept in freezing rv the whole time. The wheel was very loose and the whole ride was extremely bumpy and shaky not sure why, But was happy to find a company that offers unlimited miles and generator use i appreciate it.

Excellent service from start to finish. Prompt, professional, helpful. They were there on the weekend to answer our questions from the road. For first time RVing, we had an amazing experience and will be coming back for future rentals and trips. Kudos to Shannon who did a phenomenal job of explaining the ins and outs of the RV to first time users.

Had a great time on our first RV rental. Very easy to navigate through website with all the info and pictures you will need. Booking was very easy online. The RV was nice and roomie, the staff was great, they were very helpful with all our questions.

The people here were great. I had an issue with my brakes while on the road and they got me right in. Clear communication throughout the process. Will definitely go back and suggest other to as well.

We had a few different repairs to our class A and the job was done very well. The roof repair. The stabilizers and the generator and replace the starter.

Amazing service! We were new to RVs and they really made us feel comfortable before leaving out on our trip. If we had questions, we were able to give them a call. Thank you for helping make our family vacation fun and memorable. We will definitely be back next year.
