UNRESPONSIVE

I ordered 2 pair golf shoes December 2. Canceled order via email and phone message December 13 because order never shipped and I was able to find merchandise elsewhere.
The recording on the business phone says to leave a message and a customer service rep will get back with you in 24-48 hours. Never happened.
It's now January 29 - 6 weeks after I canceled order. I've sent 3 emails and left 3 messages to cancel order. Have never heard back from Midway Sports, never received any merchandise, and never been refunded the $339.14 charged to my card. I had to file a dispute with my credit card company to recover my out of pocket cost. I understand that Christmas is a busy time of year and they may be short staffed, but this has been long enough to resolve.
I would consider Midway Sports a DISREPUTABLE BUSINESS.

Unexpected prompt service

Different kind of review… I ordered a jacket, but learned the next day the coach ordered jackets for the team. The Midway staff were quick and prompt to issue me a refund on request with no hassle. I even received a follow up phone call from a customer service staffer to confirm the refund!

I placed a order and never received any…

I placed a order and never received any tracking information and then I started emailing them and after 1 response I never heard anything after. It's 10days later since I placed my order and still haven't received any information or email responses.This is really a horrible way to treat customers or is it a scam?

Received my items

Received my items, which now I’m thinking they are not real Nike products. I’ve called(customer service is closed) emailed and used their chat on the website. Zero response. All I want is a refund. I do not need these items.

SCAM!! If I could leave 0 stars I would

Update: Do not be fooled by their reply! They "resent" a refund notification aka actually initiated a refund exactly 4 minutes prior to their response below. If you've had the misfortune of experiencing something similar, it seems public shaming here or with the BBB is the only way to get any sort of response. To the person from Midway writing these responses: shame on you for making it sound like customer error in checking our emails when in fact your company doesn't initiate refunds & ignores all emails from US. Tell your people to actually respond to my messages.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Ordered #130619 on Dec 14, no shipping details for a whole week, and no reply to my email asking for an update despite their policy saying that they'd reply within 24 hours during their work week. On Dec 28 I got a message saying the item was out of stock due to "inventory dispersion from ongoing sales" and offered a replacement or a refund. I replied within the hour saying to refund me ASAP, and they ignored me. Ironically got a response to my initial email from Dec 20 on Dec 31, which pointed me to the email they sent on Dec 28 (and ignored my response to said email). Tried calling their customer service phone number, and it's disconnected "due to the holidays." THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS!! Filed a BBB complaint this morning. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

False Advertising and Inventory not in stock

Had a promotion flagged on their website AND in their chat box that did not work when using the code... for days. THEN after I made a purchase, which WAS confirmed in an email, two days later sent me an email saying it's out of stock and asking me to choose another color. I had ordered the coordinating hoodie for my nephew so having a different colored pants for the set made no sense... I asked them to cancel the order. I was still charged and was not sent a product. Currently refuting with my bank.

They don't refund - recommend you don't buy from this company

I ordered an item and was notified it was out of stock and my order cancelled BUT NO REFUND WAS ISSUED. They said it was their policy not to make refunds for less than $50. My total charge was $52.37 (with tax and shipping). I challenged and they said they'd refund but reduced it to $42.75. (totally random number). This company has very poor, inconsistent, and disorganized customer service.
They have since refunded the full amount but I still will never shop with them again.

After 6 emails sent to the email…

After 6 emails sent to the email address that is requested by them I get no response.

But since they see these posts, could someone at Midway Sports please start a refund for order #121984. I just want to return the two Under Armour polos.

This has gone on for two weeks now I’m just looking to do a return. Just asking for alittle bit of help on this. I’ll even delete this review after you get the return going. Thanks

Non responsive and have not received order!!!

Midway Sports placed an order on 11/29 for some basketball shoes there was an order #125717 but non responsive to emails or calls. I believe they are running a scam operation. If someone at midway sees this please contact me. I’ve sent an email as well.

Order #126706 has not been received. The order was placed December 1, I've emailed twice now asking for a tracking number. Their phone message says they aren't accepting calls due to the busy holiday season. I've chatted with their website bot. I have yet to get at least a tracking number much less my actual order.

No customer support

I ordered a gift from Midway Sports 7 working days ago. I received an initial confirmation of my order directly after, but it has been crickets since. Their website shipping info says tracking info will be sent after shipment. I have received nothing. I tried to call and their answering machine says they are not answering the phone during the holidays. This is the only company I have purchased from this holiday season that has been so unresponsive and lacking of customer service. I’m hoping this gift arrives, but sadly discouraged about the lack of customer support.

Update: After I posted this (the same day). I got an email with the shipping info and the gift I ordered has arrived. It shouldn’t take a person having to complain to get a response though. I understand now the business is going through some transition and appreciate that. There is no excuse however for offering no ability for a customer to communicate with the company (enlisting an answering machine massage that indicates they are not taking calls during the holidays season). Transfer the calls if necessary to a location someone can take them. The customer is important. I did not feel that way. Thank you for getting the gift item to me.

The company is non-responsive and liars

The company is non-responsive, did not send my order and lied. I ordered sweatpants and a backpack and did not receive either, despite the order screen showing both were sent. In looking at the FedEx shipping weight, it is clear that whatever they sent me that I never received was not what I ordered. The shipping weight of the package via Fed Ex shows 1.3 pounds. The backpack plus sweatpants would be nearly 4 pounds (1.0-1.3 lb (Nike pants) + 2.8-3.2 lb (UA backpack) = ~3.8 to 4.5 lb total).

I bought something in the wrong size. I tried to exchange it, that took several emails and weeks. I mailed the item back and never received the item in the right size. I emailed, called, and have gotten no response. I think this place is a scam. DO NOT BUY from Midway Sports.
