Mika & Me Avis 

I’ve walked past Mika and Me on a number of occasions and have always admired the shop design and it’s immaculate standards of presentation. This weekend I eventually wandered in with the view of potentially buying a pair of glasses. I say ‘potentially’ as I have always found the experience of buying glasses quite intimidating. It’s such an important purchase and one where I’ve not always found the experience easy. Fast forward 24 hours and I have 2 very smart, stylish, high quality glasses/spectacles in my possession. Yes, complete with lenses, in 24 hours. I highly recommend to you the team here at Mika & Me. Extremely friendly, knowledgable and helpful. Great range and what I consider to be very good value for money. Surely the best in Glasgow!

Very professional and friendly service from Barry in a calm environment; so different from the big stores. Great range of frames from a variety of designers at reasonable prices. Got to meet the lovely dogs as well!

Second pair of spectacles I’ve ordered - prescription sunglasses this time. Great service. No pressure to choose any particular expensive frame or lenses - it‘s what the customer wants and what suits. Build a real relationship with customers.

4th pair of glasses from Mike and Me. This time converted a non prescription pair of sunglasses into polarised varifocal lenses. From consultation though to receiving finished glasses (couriered to my house) in only 5 business days cant be beat! Barry has great knowledge and advice, the tech is good and the final product excellent. Well worth a visit!

**UPDATE**
The glasses are as excellent as predicted. Ready in less than a week, no issues at all. I highly recommend Mika & Me. I also discovered that they'll recycle your unwanted frames and donate all proceeds to The Beatson Cancer Research facility. Free up drawer space for a good cause. Handily situated close to Kelvinbridge Underground in Glasgow, Mika & Me should be your first stop for your next specs.

I don’t know how to start. As previous reviews, the service from both Victoria and Barry was absolutely fantastic. You feel so good as they try and guide you to different glasses and different makes and was so impressed that I bought 2 pairs as well as my partner. They don’t claim to be the cheapest but they have glasses of all prices. If you go there you will definitely feel impressed with all the glasses available. They keep you informed of the progress of your glasses. Just to finish, I have tried all the different shops like vision express and spec savers but this shop is in a different class and therefore I urge you to go in and see what I mean. I got a receipt regarding my purchase, but I have sent multiple messages. No reply trying to askhow long from the time of a purchase do they ship no response I don’t know if I should cancel my order or just wait if it takes a month or what online seems to say it’s a legit site but I haven’t had any customer service so I don’t know

Dropped in on a whim after a friend said he’d just got his new glasses from mika. Id had enough with big high street brand - could never find what i wanted, never get appointments when i needed etc.
Was blown away with service, friendliness, attention to detail and knowledge the guys had. I tried on about everything in store. Finally picked ‘the pair’ and was amazed to be told theyd be ready in about 30mins. 100% recommend. They are going to try and resurrect my broken old favourite glasses too next time i go in. AND theyre dog friendly. Win win!
