Absolutely shocking service from the Harwood branch. Hounded is in terms of wanting an offer on the property, and constant demands for information once offer had been accepted, but once you need information from them that’s when the barriers are put up and all of a sudden they are not interested. Too busy trying to get a sale instead of providing the correct information and good customer service. Would not buy through them even if they had my dream home advertised! - the fact the evidence you provided to property redress was not factual there was no other outcome expected! Also this doesn’t stop your customer service being awful!

The whole process from initially dealing with Amy and listing my property to the sale and everything in between was faultless, have to say Roxy was brilliant her communication skills are excellent and was always available to answer any questions, great service throughout.

As a buyer, we could not have had a better experience with Miller Metcalfe throughout our transaction. Roxy was always responsive and helped us at every stage to push everything forward. She was a true professional and a pleasure to work with.

Do not use this estate agent. I was with the Bolton branch, they did well to get volume of viewers however many were not in the market to offer anywhere near the asking price. Mainly however we heard from our viewers that they were not able to contact the estate agent to book a viewing in. Many said they waited weeks. Further to this, when we had viewings they did not follow up, they only did their jobs when we rang up and asked for feedback which prompted them to reach out and gather feedback. When they conducted viewings they did not show every room in our house so didn’t try to sell the property. Buyers were actively asking for our number as they did not want to deal with the estate agents. We even had an offer which we knew about from email, no one from the estate agent followed up to see if we accepted. We had to ring them. Our concerns were voiced numerous times and nothing changed. We needed a quick sale to proceed as we had a property in mind, this did not happen due to their level of service and we have had to take our house off the market. They will sign you up very quickly and smoothly, then their service drops. Avoid this estate agents.

Additional to review following reply- the offer was followed up once at 5.32pm, however the day after it was not followed up at all until I called them in the afternoon (purposely waiting to see if they would follow up). The vendor actually contacted me directly as they could not get through to the estate agent. Do not believe the generic replies -

Buying a house with Miller Metcalf was a great experience. All the staff were very helpful, quick to respond and take action, communication was excellent. When a lady left and a different staff member took over it was seamless. Big shout out to Katie who was in it with us from the start and was FABULOUS. Would definitely recommend.

It was a good start with Miller Metcalfe but as time went on the service deteriorated. Roxy and Thomason were great with communication but after a long process was asked by MM to exchange and vacate my home in a week, when I said that’s impossible I was asked why? I agreed with the buyers 3 weeks. Still a challenge but we did it.

The whole process has been stress free my home was sold within 24hrs with excellent service and constant contact from roxy and amy.would definatly recommend miller metcalfe bury.
