do not recommend

mindful care was appealing to me for easy access to a first appointment. other than that, they are horrific to deal with. appointments are regularly mis-billed leading to lengthy dealings with insurance and their billing department. provider turnover is incredibly high - i’ve been with them for approximately 4 years and have had at least 7 different providers. prescriptions are left without being called in to pharmacies. both their email and portal chats are rarely responded to, and when they are they seem to be third party services providing very simplistic answers. their phone number rarely works (today alone i’ve called 6 times, gotten connected twice, and one of those two was immediately hung up on), and is never answered on nights or weekends. their recommendation for after-hours needs is a trip to the emergency room. i’ve been out of two medications for 9 days as of today, which is incredibly dangerous. i would absolutely never recommend this place to friends or family.

I made an appointment and left work…

I made an appointment and left work early to attend. Therapist never joined the zoom amd they canceled my appointment wothout telling me for no reason. I waited for 50 min for my therapist to join. Never joined. I called them and they said they would call me back. NEVER DID. I would be very careful using this service. They don't care if you need help. Incompetence at its best. I would have gotten more assistance at a dyslectic convention. Really, be warned.

My therapist is amazing

My therapist is amazing, however I had an emergency due to my husband’s health which prevented me to attend my appointment today. I always look forward to meeting Kayla as she’s is truly attentive, insightful and just outright amazing. She warned me about the risk of losing my right to treatment with Mindful Care if I had anymore cancellations or technical “no shows’ I had no way to predict what occurred today but I tried to inform as soon as possible. I clicked on reschedule button on the email sent to my at 4;00am and I received and instant confirmation and when I still received a reminder about my original appointment at one hour before the appointment time, once again I hit reschedule and I sent an email also. Unfortunately, I am unable to continue my services because of the rule about no shows. But I wanted Kayla to know that I am truly grateful for her help through my very difficult grieving process. I truly needed every word of encouragement.

My experience with mindful care is…

My experience with mindful care is comforting. Number one thing mindful care is doing is listening. This is very helpful coming from me, because I felt no one was hearing me. My therapist has excellent listening skills. I really appreciate the work my therapist and I are doing.

The staff are professional and helpful…

The staff are professional and helpful with addressing all of my needs. The support staff have been amazing with responding quickly to any of my questions. Highly recommend their services if you are looking for a great quality prescriber through telehealth.

I was in the Tuesday 5 ok chronic…

I was in the Tuesday 5 ok chronic illness support group.
The group got very large. By the time every one checked in and did there update, and there was no time for everyone and for nothing else. It was one big therapy session with some talking longer than others. Mostly young people that I could not relate to. I’m older. The experience got depressing listening to so many problems. The original girl at least would chime in every so often with some good advice but this new girl does not say much. Nothing to offer.

Life changing services!!

I have a multitude of mental health disorders, making it difficult for a Primary Physician to treat and medicate properly. I felt very lost and fearful I would never get off the waitlist for a Medicare psych doctor, I was already over a year on the waitlist at this point. Mindful Care has been life saving and changing. I have had a few appointments by now and I’m so, so pleased with my care. I feel very involved in the decisions being made around my care, I feel genuinely cared for & like my success is a priority. The frequency in which I have appointments is awesome, no long wait times.

good luck with after care

I was put on a very intense mood stabilizer by them. After, I was supposed to have a two week follow up appointment to see how I was doing on the medication and increase dose if needed. i was waiting in the virtual waiting room for 20 minutes, no one showed up. i get a call hours later saying they rescheduled the appointment. now the appointment that was rescheduled was been with a different provider, I call to ask whats going on they keep me on hold for 20 minutes then tell me the manager is busy. This "company" is a joke.

Extremely rude staff

I had my first appointment scheduled for 3/4/24. Last minute the therapist canceled and provided times for over a week out. I called to see if their were any closer appointments or if I could be matched with a different therapist with more availability. The new patient receptionist was EXTREMELY rude and said no without even trying to pull up my account and check. Would not recommend at all! Notice how they don't have reviews available.

Their BILLING is so SUB-PAR you cannot…

Their BILLING is so SUB-PAR you cannot determine the Dates Included, No Payment History, No Statements to download to Verify the Billing Information.
System is Deficient in Many Ways as far as Patient Access to THEIR INFORMATION !!!!

After 9 months worth of visits with…

After 9 months worth of visits with mindful care, out of the blue I got a link telling me I had a huge outstanding balance with no explanation.

I really thought it was a mistake, but apparently they truly hadn’t bothered to follow up with my insurance that did not cover their visits. I specifically chose mindful because when I called to ask about using them they told me they took my insurance.

But they didn’t, and they never bothered to tell me there was any sort of problem with my insurance until I had to ask what was going on and even ask for the actual invoice since all they sent me was a link to put in my credit card information.


I have had numerous other problems with them, including another time where they said a new provider didn’t take my insurance, only to turn around 5 minutes later and say they did and that was only a month ago so they had to have known at least then that there was a problem going on.

Overall, feels like I got scammed.

Poor follow up and care

The company does not explain any process. they bill and don't give an explanation. The intake was not a session, but billed with no plan. they bill for appointments that were not scheduled. No therapy available for months. Billing has no information and does not contact back. Very unprofessional manner. Whole program seems sketchy

They charged me an incorrect amount…

They charged me an incorrect amount twice and refused to give me any paperwork to support the charge, not even a billing invoice. They lied and said my insurance told them they were charging the correct amount. I spoke to my insurance and mindful never even called them.

The providers are absolutely terrible and constantly send incorrect scripts and take days to correct their mistakes. There's no way to directly contact the providers.

They also advertise that they provide therapy services but it's not even actual therapy. This place is either a complete scam or EXTREMELY poorly run.
