I am a wing chun teacher in Auckland. I started the Mindful Wing Chun Online Course several years ago and it has completely reframed my understanding of wing chun. The course has made me even more fascinated and passionate about the CST method of wing chun. My students have also benefited greatly from my new understanding of Wing Chun thanks to this course.

I have tried most of the online martial arts & Wing Chun schools non of them close to the mindful Wing Chun school in everything other online schools only 1 video per week the mindful Wing Chun more than 4 to 7 with homework.

The online course is excellent. Builds step by step foundations and focuses down on the core principles of this internal art. The teachings are clear and thorough and the team at Mindful Wing Chun are clearly very passionate about what they do. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Comparing Mindful Wing Chun to other kung fu schools

Over the years, I have trained in a variety of martial arts dojos/schools. Some had teachers who turned a blind eye to bullies among their students; others encouraged their students to get into street fights; a few beat up their students to demonstrate their skills; one Sifu was of low moral character and preyed sexually on his female students - fortunately, all adults, and encouraged his male students to follow his example. Still others were arbitrary in how they taught and whom, with a few favored students learning the real art and the rest grunting and groaning through the standard repertoire of punches, blocks and kicks.

Mindful Wing Chun is the exact opposite and is one of the best schools I have trained in. Sifu Nima King is open and willing to teach students all he knows, and he and his instructors are courteous, disciplined and kind, while insisting on proper practice. The level of instruction is high and all you have to do is listen to and follow the instructions and practice. The school welcomes questions and answers them clearly and comprehensively. Bullies get short shrift - I heard Sifu Nima tell one of his instructors who had brought up the issue of an obstreperous student that the student was engaged in bullying and that isn’t tolerated. Sifu Nima has high moral and ethical standards that are passed along to the students. I have no reservations about recommending Mindful Wing Chun to everyone.
NOTE: The date of experience is wrong. I have been a member of Mindful Wing Chun for close on two years. Neither Sifu Nima nor his instructors nor the school have provided me any incentive to write my review, and I would quit the school at once if they tried.

Pretty much a step-by-step encyclopaedia of Chu Shong Tin's method of internal Wing Chun. Suitable for both beginners and experienced practitioners. Instructors also have social media channels and respond quickly to questions and give feedback. Highly recommend if you are looking to deepen your knowledge of internal martial arts!

Mindful Wing Chun Online is
simply amazing, after practicing the Main Program since almost one year I can already feel many health benefits that I got through the practice of the content of the program, the profits that I gained are not only for Martial Arts, but for everyday live.
The videos are full of useful information and positive energy, it is possible to feel Sifu Nima Kings passion in every single second.
He is also very helpful with any questions that may arise and responds quick.
Also there is a great online community that supports each other on the learning path.

Their grandmaster was ridiculously insane. My first reaction when viewing his videos was that the acting was impressive because I was so sure it was fake! Skinny old dude throwing around much younger and bigger dudes effortlessly? Come on! This is not a Japanese anime. This is real life! Then I actually feel firsthand how powerful the Masters are, and realised that the Grandmaster’s skills were real! I was shocked beyond belief! But now I believe it is all genuine!

Can't think of a reason for it to be anything less than a 5* from me - in fact if this rating could go higher then I'd be hitting that start too!

Its refreshing to have a Sifu give information away in abundance - for the goal of getting this practice into as many hands as possible without holding back or charging extra for the 'secrets'.

Inspiration to practice more and support from a community all aiming for a better sense of self.

I am both an online and"physical" student at the school. My experience is that the online program is a superb compliment to my normal training at the school. I am able to go over different aspects of wing chun with different exercises over and over again, grasp different learnings through the intercorrelations amongst the different lessons online, and further test and enhance them in my normal classes. A big kudos and respect to sifu Nima and all the other sifus and instructors at the school to continue to make and improvise the online program and continue to spread the CST wing chin to us with utmost heart and patience. I have signed up the life version by the way because that's where I'm seeing my training heading - for life!!!

Excellent online course. Started 3.5 years ago. Have been in Wing Chun for 25 years, but MWC is something special. Doesn’t matter from which lineage you’re from, it opens your eyes on very basic stuff which nobody interested in Wing Chun should miss. My speed, flexibility, focus, awareness improved a lot. Still couldn’t manage to visit the headquarters in Hong Kong, but there is very helpful and agile community on FB and Telegram from the whole world.

Excellent proponent of Chu Shong Tin. Wish this was available in my younger days. Better late then never I guess.

I'm from Germany, so excuse my English. I can just recommend this course to anyone who is really interested in the whole knowledge of Wing Chun. It's super nice structured, and Nima really knows what he is talking about. I was lucky enough to meet him in person and everything that he shows in the course is genuinely working. One thing is just definitely needed around after a year of the course, a buddy that gives you some of his time for pressure testing and stuff.
For me it was amazing. After just a few month my wing Chun changed so much, that Chi Sao started to be "child's play". My journey took me around 20 years, but I finally found my harbour.

Prompt answer to questions and quality of teaching

I have trained at Nima King's school in Hong Kong and got the yearly access for the online program which I binge watched for 6 months. It holds precious information that compiles all the teaching of Chu Shong Tin.

The online program offers 4 to 5 videos per week with in depth explanation on how to train the Chu Shong Tin method.
And if you have any question, you can also send a video to Nima and he will reply to you in text or video.

Recommendation: find a training partner first and then follow the program together for optimal results.

Sifu Nima is the best

On the online course you Can delve in the profund meaning of wing chun as the art of effortless movement. Everyone course, demo, anectode, give you a huge overlook of every movement which is part of a complete and consistant systeme. Nima, the instructors and the community are always there to help you to progress and to answer your questions. Through the kindness of them you can feel the spirit of Chu Shong Tin. It's a fantastic journey to start, you won't regret it !

I am practicing Wing Chun in different lineages since 1982. Since practicing CST lineage whithin this online program I feel starting to understand the whole picture and everything makes sense holisticaly for the first time im my martial life, honestly!
