I wrote a review for another website but unfortunately this company's name came up in error, I have not had a bad experience from Moddanio in any way, my previous review was for Modo galione and not Moddanio, this was my mistake and I apologise to anyone I may have offended .

If I could give no stars
If I could give no stars, I would. First of all, customer service is appalling. They tried to blame me for placing a wrong order when it was very clearly their mistake. I returned the order via their arranged courier the following day and haven't received a refund after a month. I contacted them again and they are now saying they never received it and are still waiting for it. What a load of rubbish. Don't bother with them is my advice.

Unfortunately as explained repeatedly to you, a refund cannot be processed unless the returned item has been received back at our warehouse. We have confirmed in writing to you that a refund will be issued once the item is received and checked and inspected as per our terms and conditions.
However due to the lockdown and pandemic there is a delay from the courier which is completely out of our control as they are 3rd party suppliers and we have no control of their internal processes.
We have accommodated your circumstances and arranged for the item to be collected from your home to assist you further in regards to this order that you placed incorrectly.
Please be patient and continue to monitor through the tracking number that was supplied to you by the courier and ourselves on the day of collection.

I ordered handbag and wallet for my sister's birthday and received the shipment in a timely manner. The quality and pattern are even more beautiful in person than pictured. I have ordered from Moddanio several times, for myself and for
others. I travel with my bags and always get the most compliments wherever I go. I love that the company uses cork in a unique way.

Extremely unusual and pretty cork item
Very pleased to find such a pretty cork case. My daughter was very thrilled. Shipping was extremely quick and actually arrived unexpectedly in time for her birthday, but did think the postage was actually a little expensive bearing in mind the size and weight of the parcel. Just 1 little thing : the wallet color my husband ordered was more like dark red on the picture even though it was mentioned the color was brown, but it can be confused for customer

Great buy.
Bought for a birthday present in a couple of weeks, so the recipient hasn’t received it yet! However, the bag looks very high spec- lovely & soft & I anticipate that she’ll be delighted!

Hello thanks for your feedback. We have checked the dimensions of the bag and they are in-fact correct. All the bags are measured at their widest points rather than their narrowest points. As you can imagine, all bags have different shapes and sizes and of course items are handmade so measurements are “approximates” but should never be out by more than 5-10%. We realise that currently the measurements are in centimetres, so we will be adding inches to simplify things even further. We hope to work with you again in the near future.

The product very nice, the only negative is that it came wrapped with a plastic silver ribbon which cannot be recycled.

Hello Lucia, thanks for the feedback we’ve taken those points on board and have actioned changes with immediate effect. We don’t normally put ribbon on our packaging but because of the festive season and the amount of requests for gift packaging, we thought we would standardise it and ensure that all customers get the same level of service and treatment. Moving forwards we've now found a sustainable natural option which is easily recycled and more suitable for gift packaging.
