Excellent sales experience but very poor aftersales
Excellent sales experience, but extremely poor aftersales.
I placed multiple orders with this company and spent a significant amount overall. The sales process was smooth and efficient, and I was genuinely impressed at the time.
Unfortunately, the aftersales experience has been entirely unacceptable.
I returned approximately £600 + VAT worth of items, all unused and in new condition. While some original packaging was not retained, the items themselves were intact, not installed, and not used. Many of these products were only supplied in basic wrapping to begin with, so this point has been overstated.
I was informed that none of the items were eligible for a refund. This blanket refusal was based on “condition” and “missing packaging”, with no proper item-by-item assessment or clear justification.
I also strongly dispute the claim that the vanity unit was damaged. It was in good condition when returned. If any issue occurred during transit, that should be properly investigated rather than assumed.
A complete refusal to refund under these circumstances is disproportionate and not consistent with UK consumer law, which allows customers to inspect goods without losing their right to a refund.
What is particularly disappointing is the rigid and dismissive approach taken, especially given the level of spend and the otherwise positive sales experience.
I have now raised this as a formal complaint and am seeking a full refund. If this is not resolved promptly, I will be pursuing the matter further.
I hope the company takes this opportunity to review the situation properly and resolve it fairly.

We are sorry that you are unhappy with the outcome of your return.
We would like to clarify a few points regarding the items received back. The vanity unit was returned wrapped only in thin third-party cardboard packaging and had sustained significant damage to two corners, which was photographed and shared with you. Two toilet roll holders were also returned loose inside the vanity unit, with no packaging and without the installation materials, including the screw pack and instructions. In addition, two shower heads were included in the return, however these were not standalone products as supplied, but formed part of larger shower sets.
As the returned goods were not received in a condition suitable for resale, we were unfortunately unable to approve a refund. Photos were taken at the time of inspection and shared with you.
We appreciate that this is not the outcome you were hoping for. Your complaint has been noted and will continue to be addressed directly with you through the appropriate process.

Their support team were rude and unhelpful, and the quality of the product itself was poor.

We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the flooring once it arrived.
We would, however, like to clarify that the issue raised was not that the product supplied was incorrect, but that the colour was not as expected once seen in person. As with many flooring products, colours can appear differently depending on screen settings, lighting, and surroundings, which is why we always recommend allowing for this when ordering.
We did not refuse a return. We advised that the order could be returned in line with our returns process, however collection and return costs would apply. The charge quoted was to cover those return costs rather than to prevent an exchange or return.
We are also sorry if you found our communication unhelpful, as this was certainly not our intention. We always aim to assist fairly and clearly within the terms of our returns policy.
We appreciate your comments and are sorry that, on this occasion, the product was not what you were hoping for.
Seemless process from order to delivery.

Don't respond when you need support
I bought a kitchen tap from them and was initially pleased with the quick shipping. However the tap had imperfections and wasn't able to be used where I wanted it due to the lack of information on dimensions on their website and not using standard sized components.
I asked how to return the item for a full refund as is stated as an option kn their website and was asked for photos of the defect. I sent the requested photos immediately and now they are ignoring my messages. I just want to return the faulty item and get my money back as I have had to buy a tap from elsewhere now.
Do not use this company if you suspect you may need to use customer services at any point.
