Bought several Montbell titanium camping cups —- cost $99.00 Aud each, which is about 60% higher than the Japanese stir price. I can expect a mark-up for importation, however 60% is excessive...

The Australian distributor of a great manufacturer of adventure and technical clothing and equipment needs to be put on notice - get your stock control, communications, website in order because I will now not deal with them. I ordered twice an item - the first order was refunded even though the stock levels were open for purchase on the online website. From a email received from the company that the item was now in stock, re-ordered immediately on receipt of the email from an open online order, and then instructed AGAIN to call in, only to be informed that the item was out of stock, despite the online system emailing me that the item was back in stock. I will not deal with the Larry Adler distributors for Montbell Australia. It has been frustrating and a complete waste of my time. The only reason I tolerate 1-star is that the refund process was seamless and immediately progressed, the only credit is to these employees, who I assume spends their time requesting customers to call in and process refunds for products listed as available on the website.

Bought socks from Australian shop but got sent the Japanese branded version at the Australian price. I know that the socks in Japan sell for 50% of what I paid per pair so am not happy to pay this marked up price.
The socks weren't the same as what I was expecting, and were a thinner version of what I bought in Japan.

The sales lady was quite friendly and helpful, and most importantly it allowed me to freely shop around in the store to look for my favorite items.

The Most Breathable and lightest windproof hoodie around.

Although there was initially lack of contact, when finally they did reply to my question, Montbell have been great. I absolutely love the vest I purchased and am waiting for the other colour to come back in stock to order another. Shipping was fast.

Love the superior down jacket so much I bought it twice!

I’ve just purchased my second superior down jacket from Montbell after loosing a lot of weight. I lived in my first one for three winters and it still looks perfect - sadly just too big for me now. I can’t recommend it enough.

The quality really is there - if you’ve worn cheaper versions in the past you’ll instantly notice the difference and understand why it’s worth paying for quality.

First it will last you years, secondly the way it’s made holds the down filling in place so it never gets lumpy or everything ends falling to the bottom. Thirdly it will keep you warm even if your outside for an extended period and fourth it’s stylish and you can dress it up or just throw it on for a quick trip to the shops.

I really can’t recommend this jacket enough it’s 100% worth the investment.
