They have my complete trust, and received it the old fashioned way: they earned it.

Extremely Disappointed, Faulty Product and Poor Customer Service

I purchased a set of pendant lights from Mooiehome, and the entire experience has been extremely disappointing. All three lamps I received were faulty, they flicker even when turned off, have missing LEDs, and give off very dim, uneven lighting that makes them completely impractical for use.

Despite providing photo and video proof, the seller continues to deny responsibility, insisting on refunding only one lamp when the entire set is defective. They even suggested I pay to ship the faulty items back to China , which is unacceptable under Australian Consumer Law.

The product I received is not as advertised, poor quality, and not fit for purpose. The customer service has been frustratingly dismissive and unhelpful. I strongly advise others not to purchase from this company. Save yourself the stress, time, and money.

Lighting that was received was flawed…

Lighting that was received was flawed in that the glass was not even and so some of the screws were not long enough to attach to the fixture. Several emails were exchanged with customer service and they kept asking me to try again and send more pictures of the “issue”. I asked for a refund because we were not able to use these as they were, and they then asked me to send them a video of me trying to put it together. I can’t get anywhere with them and they are not sending me a return auth so I can send them back. Worst experience ever.

Avoid at all cost.

This company failed to deliver as promised within 6 weeks. In fact at the six-week point, FedEx had not even picked up the package. I tried multiple attempts by phone and email and they refused to cancel the order. I reversed the charge on my credit card and told them so. They still refused to redirect the shipment even though it had not even been picked up yet. The sent me the package well after six weeks and asked me to reverse my credit claim. Every time I called customer service, they gave me a scripted dialogue that they understand my frustration and will escalate my issue with the team and get back to me. I called at least five times and they never followed up. I suspect emails are answered via AI given the formatting of their responses. It seems customer service is primarily there to block any kind of meaningful resolution.

I called to ask why Mooiehome and…

I called to ask why Mooiehome and Vakkerlight have the same picfures, same address, same everything, even the sam eperson responded on the phone. I think this is a scam. I was told that Vakkerlight is the parent company of Mooiehome, but I find no evidence of that. I don't trust this.

Safely delivered

I ordered the lamp I wanted which was inexpensive compared with very similar European lamps which reviews on other sites tell me may well be made in China. Their customer service people were very helpful both before and after purchase. It has arrived safely almost exactly 6 weeks from when it was shipped, two days after ordering, which is exactly what I was told to expect.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

This is a scam operation posing as a legitimate lighting retailer. They are using stolen product photos from reputable brands to mislead customers into thinking they’re buying high-end designer fixtures. What you actually receive is a cheap, poorly made knockoff that looks nothing like what was advertised.

To make matters worse, their refund policy is a trap. If you try to return the item, they demand that you ship it back to China at your own expense – which can cost anywhere from $500+, often more than the product itself. And even then, they drag their feet or deny refunds altogether.

This is a textbook bait-and-switch scam. They lure you in with stolen imagery and then leave you stuck with junk.

Save yourself the frustration, money, and time. Run from this company. Report them if you can. No honest business operates like this.

This company has horrible customer service. I received my light in the mail not only did it come in broken but it also came in not to what the quality of the picture shown on the internet looks like. This item was a 1700 dollar chandelier. I cannot get anyone to call me back nor email me back with letting me return the item when the item is broken.

All they tell me is I need to return the light and pay for the shipping since my light is in good quality, even though I sent videos of the light broken to the company and they are telling me I can fix the light myself. ABSOLUTELY WORST COMPANY DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!
