My daughter loves her weekly lessons with piano teacher, Ben. He is extremely supportive and patient and has nurtured a real love for music in her.

As an adult picking up piano again after many years, I couldn’t have found a better place than Morningside School of Music. The lessons are tailored to my pace and goals, and my confidence has really grown. Lovely people and a relaxed environment. Five stars from me!

I started drum lessons here just for fun, and it’s become the highlight of my week. No pressure, just great teaching and good vibes. Perfect place if you want to enjoy learning music at your own pace.

As far as Edinburgh Guitar Lessons go, I can't recommend anyone higher than the Morningside School of Music. And I've tried several, but nobody else comes close. They put you at ease, adjust their teaching to match you as the student and make you feel right at home. The guitar tutors are so friendly and talented, it makes learning a fun and enjoyable experience. No matter my skill level, they've always helped me improve and I always look forward to guitar lessons there. We've covered everything from chords, advanced scales, to guitar composition and soloing/improv. They cover all styles too from rock and pop, to jazz and classical. 5 stars from me. Thanks to everyone at the school for spreading the joy of learning music!

I started taking Edinburgh guitar lessons at Morningside School of Music about six months ago and it’s been brilliant. My teacher is patient, explains things clearly, and the school itself is super welcoming. I'm in my 40s and was nervous about starting as a beginner, but it's been a fantastic experience.

When our son was 5 years old, we looked into piano lessons for him. All the places we contacted suggested waiting until he was older. We contacted Morningside School of Music and they said we could give it a try. Paul was absolutely incredible. He made sure the lessons were interesting. He found out all the things our son loved and set the music around these. Many times Paul ended up creating pieces so our son would still enjoy the lessons and it kept him motivated. Due to the Morningside school of Music, our son is now 11 years old and just got his grade 4 piano. Our son also had theory lessons with the school and is about to sit his grade 3 theory. Also our son wanted to try singing lessons so we did a year of lessons. Our son is now part of a choir. If that isn't enough my husband had not played the piano for 20 plus years but decided to take it up again after getting inspired watching our sons lessons. The Morningside School of Music not only offers incredible lessons but they all have organised public performances so you can get the opportunity to play with others in a friendly atmosphere. My son loved these opportunities and it certainly gave him confidence. He loves playing in public. Whether you are looking to learn a new instrument or take up an instrument after a break the Morningside School of Music is the place to go. They have incredible friendly staff that are knowledgeable and skilled. They set realistic but challenging goals. It is competitively priced. My husband is very busy with work and they always worked around his timetable. The location of the school is perfect with local parking or excellent public transport. They also do lessons online which is a great option. You will not regret contacting them and giving it a try. Thank you Morningside School of Music for being part of our family.
