Opening a parcel from Morris Works is…
Opening a parcel from Morris Works is like opening a present :) One full of pretty things I've chosen, and they have never disappointed.
I love the ethos, all biodegradeable packing, a happy little 'thank you, hope you have fun/enjoy' card included.
It's not soul-less, there's a real person who packed my order, someone who wrote the little Thank You note.
The stock and choice changes like the seasons, always something else to catch my eye.
It's always at a good price too, delivery is prompt and they keep me informed.
All good, all well worth five stars :D

Excellent service and fantastic fabrics
I placed my order on Sunday evening using the 24 hour Royal Mail service as I noticed that the shop was closed on Monday.
My parcel arrived exactly as stated in time for me to take away to a quilting retreat on Friday.
The quality of the fabric (painter’s palette solid) seems excellent and very reasonably priced indeed.
The packaging is also amazing, no synthetics are used, it was all beautifully wrapped and each fabric was colour identified as I requested.
I will definitely be using this company for future orders.

Hobbs Heirloom Wadding
The Hobbs Heirloom wadding arrived in good time for a quilting project I have on the go. As it was not in a plastic bag, it did not need to be left laid out overnight in order to loose any creases, so I could start the layering up straight away.

Thank you for such a thoughtful review. I’m really glad the Hobbs Heirloom wadding reached you in time for your project, and it’s lovely to hear you were able to get straight on with layering without needing to let it relax first.
That’s one of the reasons we avoid tightly compressing wadding in plastic — it’s much nicer when it arrives ready to use rather than needing a day to recover!
