After trying in vain for several months to sell my motorhome by myself and having to deal with some very undesirable characters and time wasters, I contacted Chris Byers at Motorhome Marketplace, Scotland. That was in early July this year. My motorhome was sold on September 5th to the first people to view it!
From the outset, Chris was professional, knowledgeable and very patient. He came to my house to explain the selling process, take photographs of the van and collect relevant details for the advert. He was in regular contact, always replying promptly to my emails.
At the first viewing, Chris spent a lot of time with the prospective buyers showing them the motorhome and answering their questions. When they left, Chris told me they were keen to buy. The deal was completed the following week. Again, at the hand over, Chris took time to show the buyer, who was new to motorhoming, how everything worked, making sure they were entirely happy before finalising the sale.
The whole process was wonderfully straightforward and stress-free. The money was in my bank account before the keys were handed over.

After a really tough and stressful week of attempted scams and time wasters we contacted Motorhome Marketplace and were contacted by Andrew who arranged to meet up within a few hours of our first contract even though it was a Bank Holiday Sunday. What an absolute pleasure dealing with Chris Byers for a motorhome purchase in Perth. He was so approachable and helped us many ways with our purchase.
From the first viewing to the actual purchase he went out of his way in both travel and time (very late finish for him before travelling home to Aberdeen).

I recently purchased a Niesmann+Bischoff Flair through Motorhome Marketplace, and the whole experience was excellent.

Rupert from Motorhome Marketplace dealt with us throughout the process and was outstanding. Every query I had was answered promptly and thoroughly, and he was extremely patient throughout. He acted as a very effective intermediary between us and the seller, making the whole transaction straightforward and stress-free.

What particularly impressed me was the level of service beyond simply facilitating the sale. Rupert arranged for my wife and me to be collected from the train station and driven around an hour to where the motorhome was located, which made collecting the Flair considerably easier. He also arranged an extended warranty for us, giving us additional reassurance with the purchase.

Rupert is a genuinely pleasant, down-to-earth guy. At no point did we feel subjected to a sales pitch or pressured into making a decision. He simply answered our questions, sorted out the practicalities and allowed us to make our own decision.
