With my "first purchase" discount from MR, and free shipping due to the cost above the free shipping threshold, I decided to buy from Veteran owned MR. I like to buy from small business whenever possible, in spite of the slower shipping/delivery, and generally higher prices than available via Amazon. Amazon is a very tough competitor, in pricing and fulfillment, but MR did OK. (USPS moves like molasses in January.)

You’re absolutely right, Amazon is a tough competitor, and we’re grateful you chose to shop with us. We’ve also been seeing a growing number of counterfeit products popping up on Amazon lately, so it’s always worth keeping an eye out for those cheaper imitations.
As for the shipping, I completely understand the frustration there. USPS can definitely move slower than anyone would like, and I’m sorry your order got caught up in that. I love Mountain Ready! I bought a 3 day survival kit and tent for a special school trip for my son. I searched everywhere for the best quality and found exactly what I needed and what I found here is far superior quality to anything I could find on amazon.
