Just purchased a property through Absolute. Gary and Anita have been absolutely fantastic throughout this process offering advice, guidance and support throughout and I would highly recommend them. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you all so much.

Where do I begin!!
Where do I begin!!! An office full of nobodies acting bigger than they are. I rented a property on my own (Villa Borghese) through absolute lettings Nov 25, unfortunately from the start I've had issues with them. From a broken boiler which took 2 months to fix, no hot water, heating, compensation or apology, to weekly rude calls from Danni full of harassment for rent which was paid every month, heavy mould on walls, already a stressful situation, they then bombarded me with calls to get the gas and electric certificate appointment booked. Within 6 months I had over 8 seperate appointments, with no chance of settling into my supposed home. Shortly after the boiler was fixed, they began to harass me, in an attempt to get to leave the property so the landlord could put the property back up for sale with the mentioned problems now resolved. Absolute lettings will try break your mental health down, especially if they believe you're on your own, for their own gain with constant threats with your home once you've signed your agreement. They 'forgot' to mention my neighbour has mental health problems and doesn't work, who has also made my life difficult loitering and harassing on a daily basis, or the heavy flooding in the space I park my car. On my initial complaint i was practically told to put up and shut up by the manager, Trisha. An office full of liars and wannabe bullies who have been reported to the local mp and soon to be police if they don't rectify the issue, more than happy to take it to court. They lied about the gas engineer losing my front door key, strangers entering my home without my permission has spooked my cat I've had for over 5 years and my personal items have been damaged, they still yet to change the locks after 2 weeks of requesting and suspect people have been accessing my home without my permission ever since and pretty certain they've broken confidentially acts and agreement regarding my personal affairs. Still no explanation how the gas to the lounge fire was switched off when i and gas engineer can prove it was left on. Instead of trying to fix the issues, they believe they'll sweep it under the carpet and move on to the sale with no push back. I intially believed it to be racism but after reading the reviews i see they have history of poor conduct and ill-treatment which strengtens my case tremendously. They're now trying to sell the run-down property through another agency using my time, furniture and decoration to sell it, in an attempt to move the property from under their name , onto another to avoid responsibility, its all quite clear to see. After being on the market for over a year prior to my arrival, and many attempts to sell, anyone with sense wouldn't touch this property or them with a barge pole but their surveyor will confirm that idealogy. Eager to make sure the property looks bare and remove any distractions by the time they arrive, they appear to believe themselves to be untouchable but they're about be touched. Full of tricks, lies and greed, avoid at all cost if you want a peaceful home and supportive staff! I'd like to see what rubbish you'd like to spill to talk your way out of this one, I look forward to your response on here and call on Monday, Chelsea. I will report to police, your redress team, local council private sector team and my solicitor if im not happy with the outcome. They've made me anxious, depressed and ultimately unhappy with a move initally made to gain peace and stability in my life which took quite some time, finances and stress to complete after ending an abusive relationship, to then be constantly abused in my home. Maybe you'LL explain it better in court, Chelsea? Lukily ive worked in the media industry so abreast on how to expose these ill-ran companies and know i can contact the director/ ceo personally through info on companies house and have great support from friends and family.. They seem to believe black people are scared of the authorities and uneducated like we have no rights. I've never been treated so poorly in my life-time. Avoid if you prefer not to be bullied in your own home you've paid money to live in, judged for the colour of your skin, lied to on a weekly basis and completely ignored. Why after almost a year of problems am i just hearing from you now, call my bluff Chelsea! Pleased to be leaving you all in the dump i met you in 👍🏾 All 100% true and will be on oath if they're not careful. I can assure you, if they give me problems with my holding deposit like I've read on the other reviews i'll sue living day lights out of them personally. No-one is scared of you Absolute Bollocks, 'Sorry' Lettings.

Update! Instead of addressing the issue, Chelsea attempted to flag my review as defamatory. A little example of the attitude of Absolute Shambles. Don't say you wasn't warned!

I have only recently asked Absolute in Paignton to manage two rental properties. I have found the team to be very knowledgeable about the requirements now placed on landlords and very efficient at ensuring that as a Landlord I fufill all my obligations. In addition when there is any problem which needs resolving they are quick to find a solution. I would recommend them as a high quality and efficient rental service which gives great support to anyone renting property

Absolutely horrendous letting agency , holding a security deposit and trying to make multiple false claims and ghosting us for weeks on end in order to keep our money . Avoid unless you are willing to fight to get your hard earned cash back or lose it.

We honestly cannot thank the team at Absolute Sales & Lettings enough for everything they did to help us get moved into our new home.

Our move was an incredibly long and stressful process, with a complicated chain and numerous delays along the way. There were so many moments when we genuinely thought it might not happen, and the uncertainty was extremely difficult.

Throughout it all, Nicky was absolutely brilliant. She kept us updated, chased things when needed and was always so helpful, reassuring and understanding. You could tell she genuinely cared about getting everyone to the finish line, rather than us just being another sale.

The whole team were friendly, approachable and professional, and we really appreciated how much effort they put in behind the scenes to keep things moving.

After everything we went through, finally getting the keys and being able to say we are home was such an amazing feeling. 🥹🏡❤️

We would wholeheartedly recommend Absolute Sales & Lettings to anyone looking to buy or sell a property. Thank you so much, especially to Nicky, for helping us through what was definitely one of the most stressful but ultimately happiest experiences we’ve had! ❤️

I can’t speak highly enough regards this company , everybody within Absolute , especially Trish , are without doubt the most efficient , truly engaging and proactive personnel I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with during my 20 or so years of instructing letting agents … they are just fantastic and a wonderful group of people ….

The reason for my rating is because they were the only agent in the area that actually took the trouble to ask what we were looking for the other agents we viewed with just showed us round . Anita actually suggested the house that we bought and I wouldn’t have looked at it without her taking the trouble to do this . It was and is perfect for our needs and I think if I was selling I would obviously choose them because they were able to sell !!!
Also they recommended an outstanding surveyor and solicitor . So considering we were the buyer and not the seller who was paying their bill I was quite impressed by them. They were also pleasant and polite to deal with .

Very proffessional and informative. As a first time buyer the experience was smooth and enjoyable.

Very rude staff. The way they ask for information and the pressure! They can't even address emails correctly. What happened to "Hi ****" or "thank you and kind regards". Very very rude. They send landlords this Goodlord referencing platform and it's not even user friendly, even they don't know how to use it!!! Frustrating to say the least.

Efficient, professional and helpful. Anita at the Paignton office was so helpful. She was an absolute star and the person who made the move happen. She coordinated the involved professionals and kept in touch with us throughout the process, often letting us know what was happening before our solicitor did. Thanks Anita x

Hannah came to the house for a valuation, she was friendly, bubbly and extremely professional. Once the property was sold Dawn ensured the sale was completed in a timely manner, even chasing things in her day off. Would definitely use them again

Our sales agent Hannah Stevens was excellent, not only did she keep us fully informed every step of the way and once an offer was received ensured any questions and issues were swiftly acted on and resolved. Absolute Sales stayed involved once an offer was excepted ensuring the lawyers (recommended by them) had all the information they required for any queries raised by the buyer's. Hannah also kept to her promise of getting an offer that was acceptable to us within two weeks. Would highly recommend Hannah and Absolute Sales to anyone

I have recently rented a property through Absolute in Paignton. I had an agent called Kate, who was really good. She helped with every single question and query I had, without hesitation. Nothing was too much trouble, and made the experience alot less stressful than house moves could potentially be.

Liv was absolutely fantastic throughout our move. She was warm, supportive, and really took the time to understand what we needed as a family. Her communication was great, and she made what could have been a stressful process feel smooth and manageable. I’m so grateful for her help in securing our home. Rented a flat using absolute as the main form of contact, they let me move into a dirty flat that had mould and wasn’t in the best of conditions with my baby, however for the price I went on for my 1year tenancy agreement then moved out. The deposit request proved even harder not only did the wait until the last week they want over 500 pound for cleaning and lights when it was probably cleaner then the condition I moved into, ridiculous, learnt to be more observant on show around.
