The best company to choose when moving to UAE

Don’t be fooled by the friendly packing service …… once your belongings are packed and your boxes are on the way and your bill paid , it goes downhill, no follow up, no update 30 days turn into 100 days and it keeps on delaying . My belongings left bahrain for beirut and are now in Cape Town , why ? Who knows …..and I am still waiting ….
I would NOT recommend GAC even if they offered to service for free . Such reckless service should be the reason why this company closes its doors

My wife and I recently shipped some personal belongings with GAC. As regards the packing, shipping and delivery all was well - especially their agents at destination who were very helpful. What I was not so satisfied with the extra received costs we had to pay. My previous experience on all my moves is that once you pay there are no more charges. This was not the case with GAC. On arrival of our items at the destination we were told their was a normal wait of 7-10 days. What I wasn't aware of is that at the end of that time I would be billed a considerable sum for port costs etc. When I queried it with the move manager he referred to the exclusions in the contract. These extra costs must have been known through their agent by GAC at the time of our initial discussion and I would have appreciated knowing in advance. So, if you are thinking of using GAC, read the exclusions of the contract carefully. Don't assume the quote will cover costs. Ask questions, especially about clearance times at your destination and your liability. That will give you a clearer picture of the actual costs - unless of course you like surprises!

STAY AWAY! This company couldnt even deliver a pizza if their business relied on it.

Completely dishonest, careless and unprofessional. They sell you a dream but once they receive the money you get nothing but bad attitude and extreme sloppiness (that is if they reply to you), they continiously to lie, disrespect and ignore you and this seems to be their way of doing business. A delivery that was supposed take 2 months has taken almost a year, with anything of value damaged or missing, no apologies or any responsibility taken by the GAC team.

Professional company and service was good with friendly staff. Though there was vessel delay, they made it a point to update on day to day basis with safe delivery of our goods. Overall a very good experience and would use them for all our future services too.

I used their services and everything was Fantastic from the sales to coordinator upto the nice and efficient crew who packed my items.

I definitely recommend them to all those who need relocation hassle free.

My experience was awful, no one should even try them or contact this company. Many items are damaged. They packed everything together, shoes with clothes and all clattered on top of each other. So unprofessional !!!!

We used GAC Dubai to move homes within Dubai itself. Keeping in mind COVID protocols the entire move took us 2 full days. The first day a large team was present to pack all our stuff. I must say the packing was excellent and every single item was packed. On the second day the team unpacked all the items and also helped with carpets. The team was polite, efficient and very helpful. Also there was not a single item that was either broken or misplaced. I was extremely happy with the overall service provided and would definitely recommend to use them for your moves.

You would expect a removals company to have good security of your possessions; after all some personal items are priceless in regard to a memory. Plus the packing would be adequate for export.
Unfortunately neither were adequate. I had a number of boxes broken into and accessed and items taken. Partly because of the poor quality of the boxes and secondly there was obviously times or places where this could happen on their journey. GAC have to use a third party 'packer' in the UK and these were the problem with the quality of the 'export packing material' If I had not done so much myself I'm positive we would have seen a lot more breakages than the one item which was beyond repair.

Extremely happy with the service received from GAC. Every single interaction has been efficient, professional, effective and we experienced absolutely no issues whatsoever. All staff are knowledgable and very helpful in their interactions, be it telephonically, via e-mail correspondence and/or in person. Given all the constraints of the blockade with Qatar, we felt extremely reassured during every step of the shipping process. Definitely highly recommended and we will certainly continue utilising GAC in the future. Thank-you to all concerned in Dubai and Doha.

Our move from Dubai to Scotland went very well. The packing team were efficient and friendly, and made it all seem easy. Special thanks to Charlene who was our very helpful coordinator through the entire process from start to finish. I won't hesitate to recommend GAC to anyone in need of a moving company.

Overall, I guess it will be fair to say that GAC services is outstanding. I got all my belongings safely and on time too.

Good service but problems later. Support through costing and booking was good. However several items damaged and also a couple were not delivered but not noticed until later. One air conditioning unit and a steam cleaner were not delivered to be exact and disappeared but were not missed for months. The insurance covered the damaged items that we realised were damaged sensibly and effectively. Unfortunately other items were not used for several months and in order to be repaired had to be paid for by myself. The problem was with the packers in Dubai more than GAC systems themselves. The packers were very poor pulling out table legs instead of unscrewing and breaking screwed in pieces off. The packing of my speakers was upside down and in the wrong boxes.

Pre-move and packing service was really good. Shipment arrived on time in Ireland, but I have some glasses that broke in transit. Otherwise good job and would recommend to use.

Our move from Muscat to Berlin, Germany went very smooth with GAC. Staff were very knowledgeable and walked us though the whole process. Packers arrived on time and did a very good job with packing up all our stuff. Container arrived when they said it would with no surprise charges and no damages. A+

Packers did a great job with my stuff, and was delivered on time with no issue. Would use again.
