Avoid at all cost - False Advertising on products, Failure to accept responsibility & Non existent complaints procedure.

I went on their website to order 3 Husqvarna products totalling £478.02 . Their prices were all stated as including vat however when I tried to make payment they changed the amount to £573.62.
I sent them an email concerning this issue and received an initial response stating it was my device to blame. I informed them (sending photos of prices stated) that the same prices were on other devices and asked for a copy of their complaints procedure.
This was denied on 3 separate emails and finally they acknowledged they would look into my complaint as per their procedure (still not sending a copy ).
I later found on their website a quote from their procedures stating "MowShop are committed to providing a high standard of customer service and satisfaction. If you have any concerns or complaints about our products or services, please contact by Email  or by telephone on 0345 222 1538 during business hours Monday to Friday.
We will endeavour to address and respond to complaints and concerns within 2 working days. Customers will be kept fully informed on the progress of resolving complaints ".

After 4 days and no further contact from them , I asked for a formal response to my compliant and was told in a totally rude and unprofessional way "they have addressed my complaint" end of story.

I find the whole experience with this company totally unprofessional, rude and lacking any customer service at all leaving me no option to refer the false advertising of prices to trading standards for them to investigate based on all the evidence (and photos) provided.

Buyer's beware..

Ordered the Stihl asa20 secateurs which was in-stock and delivered next day unlike some sites which show stock regardless of availablity. Excellent service and price.
The asa20 also highly recommended - well made and extremely efficient in operation.

Mowshop sort out problem quickly

Bought a Stihl chainsaw off Mowshop. It worked fine upto the last cut of the day when the chain came off. It must have come loose without me realising. I had problems getting it back into the guide so decided to get another chain but I also decided to get a 40cm as well as the 30cm guide as the handbook said there was one compatible. A WhatsApp message with Mowshop sorted out which it was that I needed so I now have spare chains and two guides for cutting whatever size of tree I need to. Excellent service and fast delivery

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Unhelpful and unclear. Bought a chainsaw and it had an initial problem. They didn’t care and gave unhelpful advice that was inconvenient. Turns out my chain saw had a tiny fault that had a very easy fix - but they werent qualified to advise me. My advice don’t use mowshop.com. I won’t be again

Beware 25% "restocking fee". This appears not to be in line with distance trading laws.

Initially helpful and responsive. Product arrived on time. Unfortunately it was the wrong size (boots) so I needed to return them. At this point I realised the return would be at my expense, and Mowshop sent me some long terms and conditions of return which included a "25% restocking fee". I asked if this applied to my product and they advised that it did. I pointed out that this was against distance trading law and they agreed to waive the fee (its illegal to charge this fee in the first place). Return has been slow due to staff holidays at their end. Exercising my consumer rights seems to have annoyed them as they are were no longer responsive via email. The refund was processed quickly on return however. I feel this could be a good company let down by some very questionable policies.

Dissapointed

I ordered a small bottle of chain oil that I required urgently. It was promised within one working day, October 21st. It did not arrive. It did arrive though on 22nd. The bottle though not leaking was damaged. My complaint is not so much with the service of the Mowshop, but with their choice of courier, APS and the exhorbitant £6.60 postage charged for a small bottle in a jiffy bag. They could have used Royal Mail who are far more reliable and would only charge £3.50 max.

I needed a New Chainsaw for garden work…

I needed a new Chainsaw for garden work and log supplies decided on a Stihl MS 162 ordered at about 5.00pm and it arrived two days later and cheaper than anyone else was offering them for, fantastic service very happy.

Ordered on a Wednesday delivered Thursday morning now you cannot beat that for service. Fantastic little chainsaw stihl ms 162 exactly what I needed for the garden and cutting wood for the log burner

I called mow shop no reply got message…

I called mow shop no reply got message so I chat with text to find out about stihl mower Joe reply every question that’s why I gave one star here it went wrong on web page I confirmed price that will it be same price that shows or is it different he said same I try to order next day morning my basket is empty and price changed when I message again Joe said there was mistake in price. Since he has no reply on my screen shot of price promise. Very bad experience. New price is not even competitive.
Sorry Joe I contacted you by reading reviews and genuinely wanted to purchase.
