MTD Vanities Avis 26

We are so happy that we found MTD Vanities. They have a great showroom that we visited a few times before we made a decision.

Robert was very helpful and patient while we made a decision on which vanity, mirror and linen cupboard we wanted to purchase. Everything was effortless and so smooth.

They make everything in LA and we picked up our items at their warehouse. EVERYONE is so helpful and wonderful to deal with. We were a bit anxious since we were not going through a contractor nor designer. The quality of the merchandise is superb! I highly recommend them. Prices are also very fair and customer service excellent.

After 18 months the cartridge in the faucet has started to leak. They do not sell sell replacement parts and no plumbing supplier (i Have been to two pro shops) has even heard of the brand name of the part?! I'm told by MTD vanitiesI have to buy a whole faucet again.

The cabinet and sink are exactly what we expected and are very nicely designed, however the counter top is quite disappointing. I'm not sure what kind of Quartz if is but It stains very easily and has a ton of water spots that I've not been able to remove. I've waited 8 months to write the review in hopes that I could remove the stains but I've had no luck. Also, the faucet is very loud however I'm not sure if that is the plumbing or the faucet.

Delivery was very easy but we did have to remind the driver to wait while we open and inspected all the pieces of the vanity.

MTD does not stand behind its warranty.

Immediately upon installation of a floating vanity I purchased online [Sunset 24" LED Illuminated Single Sink], it was evident one of the spring mechanisms responsible for the soft closure of the door is faulty. It takes an excessive amount of force to open the drawer, but once it is open, the left assembly 'slingshots' the drawer forward. Upon closure, the left spring makes a noticeable ticking noise (the right one makes no such noise).

I sent customer service a warranty request outlining the issue. Three days later, a rep. asked me to send a video. I did.

A few days later, I got the following response: "From the videos, we did not see any irregularities in the function of the drawer. The tension you experience is normal for soft-closing drawer mechanisms."

I responded asking for what tolerances were considered normal and within specification, and how the company came to determine mine was within that range. After all, why would the right mechanism perform so differently if the left one is within specifications?

It's been three more days and no response.

I should note that the vanity I replaced also came from this manufacturer, MTD, and also featured a soft-close mechanism. I'm familiar not only with how the drawer closure works, but also with the company's products. I understand things can go wrong somewhere in the manufacturing process. It happens. That's why companies offer a warranty. But when a manufacturer fails to stand behind its product--especially something as small and relatively inexpensive as replacing a soft close drawer mechanism--I can only suggest potential customers stay away from MTD.

This 18" vanity is well made, attractive, has a lot of storage and a large sink! It's the best small vanity we've found and are so happy we purchased it for our little bathroom.
The quality is excellent and service department outstanding. Highly recommend.

The vanity is beautiful, though I am having problems with plumbers installing without leaks - not the fault of the vanity.
I am still dealing with a leak problem from the sink stopper - though the plumber tells me the parts supplied are of excellent quality.
If I ever buy another, I will not buy a glass top - seems plumbers are afraid to tighten enough to stop leaks in case glass cracks.

Fast, efficient service and excellent product received.

Had some trouble with the local shippers but Alyssa and the crew at MTD worked it out and got us the vanities we ordered. Fine quality and reasonable prices, would buy again from MTD.

Other than a defective sink, the quality of the vanity is very good. Customer service at MTD is exceptional. They are replacing our sink and shipping it so that it arrives when it is convenient for us.

Order processed. Then I received a call withn an hour or so from MTD saying he order should not have processed because the products were out of stock. Ok . Understand these things happen. However, I was told on that call that the credit card charge wold be credited but it may take weeks to see the credit! It is 3+ weeks and no credit yet.

Ordering from MTD was a quick and easy experience. Highly recommend them.

I tried to ship a vanity to a mailbox, and the company was not even willing to try. They didn't seem to even want my business.

They're prices are pretty competitive... I've used them for several projects and they're always helpful and willing to work with me..

The vanity is well built and looks beautiful. But the design of the sink drain and the connection sent was difficult to work with. Multiple problems with water pooling at the first washer connecting to the drainage pipe

When we first wanted to order the vanity, they were out of stock so I kept checking back. When I was able to order there weren't any options for the brushed nickel faucet, which we wanted. We ordered what we could and it delivered quickly. It was well packaged and appears to be very sturdy, although we aren't able to install it just yet, I think it will be perfect in the bathroom. Still willing to pay extra (+s/h) if I could return the chrome faucet for a brushed nickel one...otherwise we will probably have to go out and buy a different faucet to match the rest of the finishes.

I never got a confirmation about the estimated delivery date and couldn't coordinate with the client. When I called over a week later the woman told me that the "warehouse was backed up and it wasn't ready for shipment yet" Also, one of the two medicine cabinets came broken and the client had to drive to the store to return it.

They were a little slow to actually ship our order. Over a week and some back and forth emailing about verifying my address. But once it shipped, it arrived very quickly and was well packaged. No obvious defects upon un-boxing. Great Pricing.

Terrible Customer Service!!!!

I ordered my vanity on December 26 and 3 months later still no vanity. I would cancel my order but I setup the pipes already for this vanity and cannot find a replacement. I initially ordered it through Jet.com and they cancelled my order because they "put the wrong price" on the item and proceed to sell the vanity from their website. Well every time I ask it is a month to get the vanity. They have no idea where the vanity is and when it is going to arrive. If you contact them, you just get told that it is going to be later in the month. Horrible experience with this company and would NEVER use them again and would not recommend them to anyone.
