Booking system is very easy to use
Booking system is very easy to use and engineer arrived in the time slot arranged and carried out the gas safety inspection (pass with no issues). Certificate was needed for a new tenancy, but unfortunately nothing came through by mid-afternoon the following day. I put in a call to the office who said they would chase the engineer and call back with more info. No call back was received and I had to chase again the next day after the certificate still did not come through. Got a response after the second chaser and the certificate was sent that morning, but disappointed with the delay as it was urgently needed before the tenancy could start. With a pass, would expect the certificate to be issued the same day or by the end of the next day at the very latest, given the impact it can have for landlords.

We’re sorry for the delay in getting your certificate over, especially given the urgency around your tenancy. In this case, the engineer experienced issues uploading the certificate from site, which caused the delay in it being issued.
This is very rare for us, and our standard policy is for certificates to be issued the same day, which is reflected across the vast majority of our reviews.

Efficent but the time keeping and being kept in the loop was unsatisfactory

Even when he was contacted by the company, he didn't contact me.

good CS team but poor service of assessor
They have a good customer service team, but lack of control of its assessors.
1. They only define the slot to morning (before 12am) and afternoon (before 5pm), so it's not allowed to choose a specific time.
2. The assessors just done their job, but they would not consider the best result for you. My two neighbors got B for EPC, but I only get C.
So I only gave 2 stars to this appointment.

We do just want to clarify a couple of points, as there seems to have been a misunderstanding. As explained over the phone and via email, the final EPC rating is calculated via the government gateway. This means the outcome is not something our assessor can adjust or influence.
We also took the time to review your report alongside your neighbours’ and asked if there were any details within your report that you disagreed with, which you confirmed there were not.
In terms of time slots, we completely understand that more specific timings would be ideal. Due to the nature of the work and varying job durations, traffic etc we offer morning and afternoon windows to ensure reliability, with our assessors calling ahead when they are on the way.
