Mungoandco Avis

Highly recommend Mungo and Co for a bespoke wooden work of art! I contacted Hal at Mungo and Co as I wanted a bespoke bottle opener for our wedding anniversary to go in our garden. Communication was top notch from start to finish. The bottle opener was crafted perfectly and was exactly what I was after. Hal even delivered it by hand in time for our anniversary! I honestly couldn’t recommend him more and I’m already thinking about my next bespoke piece! 5 star plus rating!!

Hal has designed small gifts including Rockin Robins, special birthday gifts and bespoke cheese boards and charcuterie boards for us and then also some fabulous cupboards for our games room.
I strongly recommend Hal for his genuine innovative ideas and his excellent, quality execution.

Hal made a bespoke fireplace shelf, he is amazing to work with, a great communicator that also shows impeccable attention to detail. The shelf looks lovely and Hal event sent a lovely little pack of branded bits to help install the piece- he above and beyond my expectations- thanks you Hal!

We made a special request from Hal to design a bespoke trophy cabinet for a lifetime collection of sporting awards as, for many years, we have admired his natural talent in transforming pieces of wood into unique creations. Hal’s attention to detail is second to none. His final masterpiece was the result of many discussions concerning the type of wood, design and finish. Hal’s innate skill in visualising our dreamt of cabinet meant that we were confident the outcome would surpass our expectations, and so it did!

I can't recommend Hal and Mungo & Co highly enough. Hal designed and then re-fitted our home office and turned it from a practical cold space into a wonderful library/relaxing quiet space with gorgeous American stained oak cuboards/shelving and wall panelling. Hal has also built a beautiful free standing coat stand for us and a home is not complete without, of course, 1 or 2 of Hal's cheeky rockin' robins!
Hal is a joy to work with, a dedicated and very talented craftsman and an all round great guy.

Can’t recommend Mungo&Co enough, from start to finish, Hal provided design, build and final fitting expertise without any fuss or issue. Our down-lit floating shelves look amazing and we wouldn’t hesitate in employing Hal’s skills again for anything requiring bespoke woodworking, cabinetry or just fun gifts!
Oh, and to top it all off, Hal just happens to be a very pleasant and approachable individual, dedicated to leaving customers happy with the job. Can highly recommend.

I have now purchased a couple of pieces from Mungo & Co as gifts for family, including a wonderful Cherry Cookbook Stand and a pair of the funky Rocking Robins (Bill Haley & His Comets don’t rock half as much as these!). Needless to say, both gifts went down very well indeed.

Hal gave a faultless buying experience from start to finish, only matched by the quality of his craftsmanship and thoughtful design! I was thoroughly impressed with both the service and products, I was even able to have the pieces beautifully gift-wrapped.

Very happy and will be back, Mungo & Co is my new go-to for gifts (for those that appreciate hand-crafted and traditional craftsmanship, with some design flare!).
