Terrible international buying experience
I would not recommend this store to anyone, especially for international orders. They sent me headphones with a defect: a severe channel imbalance to one side.
I received the headphones on April 17th.
On April 20th, I contacted MusicTek about the problem.
I reported the issue and attached measurement results Good thing I had the proper equipment
Instead of replacing the defective unit with a working pair, they told me to deal with the manufacturer directly under warranty by mail. This is despite the fact that their website says replacement is possible within 30 days, with the condition “if the product does not match the stated specifications.” Apparently, a defect still counts as “matching the specifications.”
The manufacturer then contacted me and said, “Send us the headphones and we’ll send you a new pair.” But after I sent them, I was told they would be repaired and that I would have to wait, which is already strange since I was told something completely different at first. I don't understand why I should even wait and get my headphones repaired if I bought them new and they broke after a couple of days, lol
In total, it has now been a month since I delivered the headphones to the manufacturer in Japan (they received them in April).
Today I got a response saying the repair will take “a very long time because the factory is busy.”
Fine, I waited almost a month, but I still don’t have my headphones, and it looks like I won’t get them back anytime soon
