Absolutely disgracful

Booked car in for a wheel alignment and a pink slip
was told needed tail shaft spacer and and rack ends needed replacing Just over 12 months ago I had everything replaced through mycar so I found this unusual as had work done on timing chain from mercedes mechanic as well he went over the whole car as I was not happy with there diagnostic and they wanted $589 I took car to a mercedes specialist he went right over the car found nothing wrong with it he told me to go back to mycar erina with a full list he went over on my car with pictures of the problem mycar said there was problems with as there were no problems I was told by the manager at erina that he would not look at the car again I asked for another of his mechanics to look at it he refused even after looking at the letter i gave him from the mercedes mechanic and having pictures he got nasty and refused to I asked did you even do a wheel allignment he told me they did this before the rego check unusual as if he did the wheel allignment program would of picked up the problem with the rack ends if he did but he also could not give me a print out of the wheel allignment I believe mycar erina brach was trying to get me to spend another $589 on something that did not need to done I have read the reviews on many sites this seems to be a case with mycar very very dissapointed have taken it up with fair trading

I went to my local one in the shopping center (Erina) for a pink slip, big mistake. Quoted me $1200 on a list of things to fix that I know they are non-exist issues they just made up, said if I don't fix those I will not get a pass on the rego check. I declined and went to another local shop on the same day, passed the check on the spot. I highly recommend that anyone considering MyCar avoid them. People who do not know anything about their car would easily fall for their scam. Total waste of time and the $49 inspection fee.
