From start to finish this was pretty good. I initiated the purchase and booking process in November and knew exactly, I thought, what the outcome would be and when the fitting would occur.

Get to the location and all is good, except there was a high pressure "recommendation" to add an additional, previously unmentioned service... the wheel alignment.

After explaining there was nothing seen to be wrong with the alignment and that I was only changing tyres because the OEM items were poor quality especially when handling in the wet, the persuasive arguments persisted. Eventually on pick up, I had to explain prior (multiple) failures at another myCar site had resulted in my not trusting the business to do the work properly - I mean the prior records show that on three prior occasions, the work failed. This was finally understood by the site.

Nevertheless, the change of tyres has greatly improved the ride, balance and handling of my car; they are brilliant, and will be monitored for uneven wear.

Very nice service

It turned out that my two front tyres were in a very poor condition (my bad) and I was able to make a booking with my local mycar really quickly and problem solved. What I really did appreciate was that the staff did not at any time try and persuade or guilt trip me into buying 4 tyres instead of just the two required, which speaks to the integrity of the company and their staff. Sure, they might have made more money, but at the expense of honesty and trust. I will definitely be a return customer.
