If I could give a half a star, I would, especially after finding out how the pre-authorization charges on gas pumps work. Because I went to get food and had $125 hold on my card. It is now been four days and with Shell, well Shell sends a finalization within 24 hours of the gas being finished pumping and the charge has occurred to let your bank know that the funds on that pre-authorization need to be released. My Dash solutions or my Dash cares,(they really don’t) the first time this happened. I spent eight days… yes eight days waiting to get my pre-authorization back. I did some more deep diving and the reason why they do this. It is because they get to hold onto your funds for longer and they do what they call night trades or night loans where they will loan out millions of dollars for a single night to make a profit on it also all of those dollars that are held up in a pre-authorization charge gain interest from the US federal government usually. So I was looking into how to get this back and well I got some good information about how you can go and ask for a void or reversal and I called Dash solutions and they literally told me well…. I’m sorry we can’t do any of those things. Not from our end. Well, my kids need to eat and you’ve taken a huge chunk of money from me and it’s the weekend where I can’t get more money till well tomorrow so it’s kind of just a little messed up. Especially when I plan my amount and then all of a sudden that huge chunk of money is gone. Well the whole thing is you try and tell me that it’s the merchant that’s withholding this money they need to verify this. Except that is a freaking lie, as I said earlier, Shell gas station the moment that your gas is pumped there POLICY is to make sure that the bank knows to release those funds within 24 hours. So when you tell me that it’s Shell, that’s holding my funds you are flat lying to my face. Which the one thing over everything I cannot stand.say you told me well we can’t do that from our end I could understand it, that you don’t have the ability to, well I’m gonna ask you well who do I talk to where they’re gonna have the ability to. But you didn’t give me that chance you literally told me and lied to me that oh it’s shell that you’re waiting for. So at that moment, I am finished with my Dash Card. I will start taking checks again even though because of a whole bunch of stupid BS that happened.(not my banks fault) I lost my bank account and it’ll cost me three dollars to cash my check every time. Oh well, it is worth not dealing with a lying company that withhold funds for so long probably just to make a few extra pennies. If you have the option to, I would suggest against using Dash Card because all I have had is problems with them. I still can’t even get into my Dash card after emailing them four separate times everything that I needed to get my account unlocked so I didn’t have to call them to find out this information to be able to actually check for it on an app that they give you. And the funniest thing was the first time I downloaded the app. They let me right into it with the same phone number that they’re trying to text now to get verification codes and all that. Well all of a sudden it changed and they can’t help me out that way anymore and I’ve given them all the information that they’ve needed multiple times and they still have not released or changed my number on the account so I can access the Dash Card app. You know the Card works. But honestly, if you’re gonna use the card, I think the best thing to do is to pull out every single dollar that there is in cash because I would rather lose my money because I drop it of something than keep my money in a place that makes it so I can’t access it and lies to me about it.

The wait time was so off I called them on a Saturday17 and they said it was going to be sent to you by Email… 4 days went by and I called back on a Thursday 22..when I got back on the phone with them they said well the last time you called they did not put in your application in then they tell me that now I have to wait 4 more days for my money on Tuesday 27….. the worst part about it is that I had to make 3 calls and 3 different people got on the phone just for me to still wait and not get what was given to me….. so yeah, three business days is not a thing here

The worst reward card ever. Customer service sucks! They can never fix the issue. I receive reward dollars from 2 companies for goods I sell. I really hate this is the only service they use! It is constantly declined when I have available funds. You can never know when it works! If I could give them 20 negative stars I would!

If there could be a -10 , I'd give it to this company. It's impossible to get the funds off it
My 1st attempt was to get the cash off it at my bank. The transaction was declined. When I called the company they "investigated " things & said it couldn't be used inside the bank but only at an atm to get cash out.
I then tried to use the card at the gas station, grocery store & nail salon. Those transactions were declined even though I had more than enough money on it.
After being on hold over 20 minutes I finally spoke to someone named Rose. She said the transactions were declined because the businesses weren't 'approved' as safe. Totally ridiculous! Her advice was to go to an AllPoint atm & get the cash out from the card.
This has been a nightmare. It was for a clinical trial & it replaced a Clincare card. I never had a single issue with Clincare.

I reported fraud on my card on Oct 16th. It still has not been resolved to get my money put back on my card. The fraud was charged in Texas and I live in Missouri. What is taking so long to verify when I was not in Texas? The research center has started a list of patients that have fraud on their cards. So I am not the only person.

I had funds fraudulently used due to the inept security of the company. That happens but the awful customer service trying to get the issue resolved is what leads me to believe this company is incapable of being entrusted with funds. After hours on hold and multiple emails I simply received an email saying it was resolved. It wasnt. No explanation just a closed case and my funds still missing. This company is fraudulent and cannot be trusted.

Horrible customer service and non existent technical support. My card has been declined even though I can check the account balance on the phone and I have more than sufficient money. They have locked my account because THEIR APP AND WEBSITE WON’T OPEN for my account. I can use the internet (obviously, since I am using the same device to submit this review) but their website and app says my connection has failed. I’m getting a new bank account tomorrow morning and once I get the balance out, this company goes into the trash.

0 stars is more accurate. I'm trying to get money off my card, bank won't accept it because it doesn't have my name on the card. Tried to use it at the ATM (one on their ATM Finder), and despite asking for less than what was on my account (because I'll get charged fees), the transaction was declined, and I was charged an ATM decline fee. There isn't an option on my app or the computer to have them transfer the money to my bank, either. (That may be the fault of the clinical research company I'm with.) How the heck are we supposed to be able to get our money?

I don't understand why so many companies use them because they're awful! They must be really cheap. I was driving so I could not pull over and use the website. I called the phone number and got, sorry we're experiencing high call volume try your call again later. I called and called and within 15 minutes they drained $185 off my card. You can call the number on the back of the card all you want, they don't answer the phone. And they're not open 24 hours a day 7 days a week like it says. I finally found a form to fill out on their website, but it's been 10 days and I haven't heard from anybody. I'm not giving up, it just should not be this hard. This company really stinks!

This card is a joke. Can’t use online to make purchases. It gets rejected most of the time. Then it will get approved but rejected later and the online purchase never happens. It does not work at a retail store, it also gets rejected. Try to get money out from ATM and you get charged 5 to 6 dollars for every withdrawal. It charges you $.50 if you press the wrong button and a balance inquiry happens at the ATM. What a waste. I would give it zero stars if possible. Do not do business with this scam of an operation.

My dash card is a total scam.
I can’t get my money out and whenever I can get some money out, they charge all kinds of fees
If somebody’s gonna pay you with this card, don’t do the job because you will suffer until you get your money out.

Really 0 Stars! This company is a scam. I was given a $100 reward for participating in medical research in the form of a card from this organization. They gave me a temporary card, which I used to go online to order a real card at mydashcard.com. I ordered it over a year ago. It never arrived. Meanwhile, even though I don't have a card, they have been deducting $4.95 per month from the account for inactivity. Rediculous! I have made several support requests through their email address. I never received a response. Their alleged customer service line is actually an ad line that repeats ads over and over, and you never get a customer support person. This company is BS!

MyDashCard is a scam. I have plenty of money in my account and yet MyDashCard refuses to let me use it. I've tried multiple times to make a legitimate purchase with an well-established business, and yet ALL of those attempts have been declined. I've called their "customer service" and they're useless. One of the "representatives" told me that I was trying to make the transaction in the WRONG COUNTRY! I am an American, live in the United States, and the business is American, and based in the United States! MyDashCard refuses to give me a reason as to why my transactions were DENIED multiple times, they have told me that my card has more than sufficient funds to use, but that I have to wait ANOTHER DAY before I can try using my card with the same merchant (that will be the THIRD DAY that I've been unable to use my card for that transaction). However, they have told me that I can use the card with OTHER merchants and that I should waste more of my valuable time going to an ATM, where they'll charge ADDITIONAL FEES and withdraw the money. This is OUTRAGEOUS! 

I am not able to use my card, and there’s no help or guidance from the customer service. I have never received any useful information from the Customer Service, even though I called them more than 10 times, and it costs me money to call abroad. There’s no concrete solution or clear explanation on why I can’t use my card; there are only useless apologies and obviously wrong information, and unprofessional communication. As I’m at home in Turkey, technically abroad, I cannot use my card either online or in the store. I have called the Customer Service over 10 times now, and the problem is still not solved. At first, I was not able to use my card abroad on the website, and the Customer Representative said that they had activated my card, and I was supposed to be able to use it after that. After 3 calls, they said that I would never be able to use my card online if I am abroad, and they gave me wrong information. After that, they said that I can use my card because they had reactivated again, and they said it was not activated in the first place. They also said that I can only use my card in the store abroad. Today, I tried to use my card in the store and at 2 different ATMs. It did not work, and I am still waiting to use my card. When I called the customer service again, they only said that they’re sorry and there’s no concrete action or any guide on how I can use my card. They only say that it’s restricted, or they block my card. I urgently need to use my money in my account. I don’t know how to transfer or how to use it in the store or online because there is no explanation regarding this. And every transaction I tried was declined for no reason, and there’s no clear explanation for this either! I have never seen customer service this bad and unprofessional. It took me hours to call the customer service more than 10 times, and it cost me money every time to call abroad, and I’m still not able to use my card at all. And there’s no explanation on how I can make a complaint. Every call I made was a waste of time and money to me. There’s no website or any other thing I can reach out to. I am still not able to use my card, and I have already wasted hours and dollars calling the customer service. I want my money in the account, and I am waiting for a concrete solution instead of saying sorry and taking no action. They also said that they will report this and get back to me as soon as they can, but still no answer either to my emails or any solution.I do not want to call the Customer Service once again, just to spend money on unprofessional people wasting my time and my money.

This seems like a scam. It asks for SSN but doesn't need it. I've called the number twice and it just disconnected after 20 seconds. Never got any verification email. It gave me a wrong phone number for them to contact me. Be wary.

They are nothing but ripoff,did study. Got the card,on the front of the card it states,Funds Do Not Expire. No where on the back of the card does it state about inactively fee,they rip me off for over $20.00!!! They did this to me,I am sure they are doing it to other ppl too!! They should be reported to AG for fraud!!!
