Back‑Dated Documents, Delays, and No Legal Registration — Buyer Beware”
We deeply regret using My Financing USA. They aggressively push “warranty plans” that lock you into 20 years of payments for only 3 years of coverage, and it took multiple emails just to get those removed.
On 8/6, they had us sign closing documents that were back‑dated to 7/31 and specifically told us not to change the date. That alone is a major red flag.
We paid our cash down on 8/11, yet as of 8/24, we still cannot legally drive our coach because the paperwork and registration have not been completed. Meanwhile, our loan payment is due in 7 days.
The lack of timeliness, communication, and the practice of presenting back‑dated documents is extremely questionable. With mid‑800s credit, we could have gone anywhere — and we absolutely should have.
I strongly recommend staying away.

Purchasing a motorhome with plans to use it right away and then encountering a delay in the title and registration process is understandably frustrating.
This was a private-party purchase, and the seller had an existing loan on the motorhome. The seller’s lender had to be paid before the title could be released. The lender has received and processed the payoff and provided confirmation of the lien release. We are now working with the lender to confirm the release and delivery of the physical title to us so we can complete the title and registration process. Our team is actively following up with the lender to help keep the process moving, and we will continue to do so until the title is in hand.
The VSC, Tire & Wheel, and GAP products were promptly removed as requested, and revised loan documents were provided.
The July 31 date reflected the transaction’s agreed closing date. The final documents were completed and signed on August 6 after the remaining closing requirements and requested changes were finalized.
In situations like this, we also look for other options that may be available under applicable state requirements, particularly when a customer has immediate travel plans. The options vary by state and circumstance, but our goal is always to help find a workable solution while the title process is being completed.
Private-party purchases involving an existing lien can involve additional timing considerations because the title must be released by the seller’s lender before the title and registration process can be completed. We recognize that this can be frustrating when a buyer is eager to take possession and begin using their new motorhome.
We know this isn't the outcome you were hoping for, and we will continue working to get the title in hand and complete the process as quickly as possible.
