We think there may have been a mix up here. We’re MyPure.co.uk, a UK based natural beauty store, and the issues you describe sound like they relate to mypurecosmetica.com, which is a completely separate company. Bought 3 deodorant products because I…

Bought 3 deodorant products because I liked the natural ingredients sales pitch. Only theyre not are they! Ive ended up with an abscess under each armpit, should come with warning labels as apparently its quite common. How can something so natural cause such illness, never felt so ill in my life. Only used the mint one, other 2 will go in the bin.
My whole body has a high fever because of the abscess.
Seems going natural isnt always good.
And ive recently discovered the company has been sold to the giants.
So it still contains harmful products

Could you please let us know which deodorant brand and product you used? You mention using the mint version, but we sell a number of different natural deodorant brands and it would be helpful to know exactly which product was involved.

We would also be very surprised if the deodorant was responsible for causing abscesses. In more than 20 years of selling natural deodorants, we have never received a report of a customer developing an abscess from any of the deodorant products we stock. While some people can experience irritation or an allergic reaction to ingredients, abscesses and a high fever are not recognised or expected reactions to deodorant use and would typically suggest an underlying infection. If you have not already done so, we would strongly recommend seeking medical advice.

You also mention that the company has been “sold to the giants”. We are not aware of any of the deodorant brands we currently sell having been acquired by a major multinational company, so it would be helpful if you could clarify which brand you are referring to.

Natural products are suitable for the vast majority of people and are used safely by millions every day. However, natural does not mean allergy free. Just as some people are allergic to peanuts, pollen or other naturally occurring substances, it is possible for an individual to have a sensitivity or allergic reaction to a natural cosmetic ingredient. This is why we always recommend checking ingredient lists carefully and carrying out a patch test before using a new product.

Good service

I have been using MyPure for quite a while now and I have to say they provide a good consistent service. I really like the sample option, it gives you chance to try other products in their store so worth putting an order in just for that. The only tiny drawback is when it comes via RoyalMail I never get a notification when it's coming so I have to make sure I watch out for the postman else I'll miss the order. Other than that I'm a happy customer :)

Late order again

I have been a loyal customer of Mypure for some time, but this is now the second occasion where my order has arrived more than a week late, despite paying for 48-hour delivery. When I contacted customer service, I did not receive an apology, instead, responsibility was attributed to Royal Mail. The response I received essentially advised me to sit and wait, which I found disappointing and really unhelpful. Given this experience, I am considering taking my business elsewhere.

Just to explain more generally: our Royal Mail 48 service is advertised on our website as taking 2–5 working days. During exceptionally busy periods like Black Friday, Royal Mail can experience delays that are unfortunately completely beyond our control — but we always want to help where we can.

If you ever need something urgently over peak times, we’d recommend choosing Royal Mail 24, as Royal Mail prioritises these parcels over their other services.

Disappointed

Exciting to see a brand that reports to sell natural and organic products however I wanted to buy their organic and natural nail polish which says it's organic and 90% natural which I thought is great and better than most but has a toxic chemical (titanium dioxide) which in several studies has been linked to DNA damage. If you are going to sell natural and organic products with the brand value of committing "to offering products free from harmful chemicals" and "avoiding any chemicals with dubious safety records" perhaps that should be further research. It shouldn't be my job to have to check especially if you are promising natural products that are chemical and worrying free for your consumers. Health contious person here. I'm glad to learn everyday as it seems we are in a world were everything seems to be created to steal our attention or harm us.

There are actually two types of titanium dioxide: nano and non-nano. The concerns around titanium dioxide relate to its nano form, which can be absorbed into the body at a much smaller particle size. However, we only stock products that contain non-nano titanium dioxide, which sits on the skin’s surface and is not absorbed, making it a safe and widely accepted ingredient in natural cosmetics.

Non-nano titanium dioxide is permitted by COSMOS, the EU organic cosmetic regulator, and is commonly used as a natural mineral pigment and UV filter in organic and natural beauty products. Many brands choose to include it because of its safety, stability, and ability to provide coverage without synthetic alternatives.

Is this company even genuine?

Is this company even genuine?? Never recieved an order,had to involve paypal for a refund. No communication from them absolutely horrible! AVOID!!!!

Just to clarify:
1 Why would I refuse to receive the order when I actually really wanted the items?!
2 Nobody was in the property when delivery was attempted by "royal mail " it was supposed to be 48 tracked del not signed for,that means they would of leave the parcel in chosen safe place, no note left by the royal mail ( wich is ALWAYS left if noone available on delivery time!!!) not even chance to rearrange delivery!
I have two emails from you asking me to pay £3.95 for redelivery and second one saying how busy it is for parcel to reach you back!
3 Managed to get a refund from PayPal as the case was closed in my favour!
Who are you trying to fool???
Quick enough to reply to negative feedback but unfortunately not quick enough to give a refund. Sad...
