No support and badly optimised app

Heavy issues when logging in, it repeatedly comes up with an error message as well as when I click forget password. I go to the website and I’m talking to a useless chatbot that repeatedly says their team are busy. 0 support and app optimisation is awful.

Rubbish App

This is the most frustrating app that declines already accepted email addresses, passwords and mobile phone numbers and will not allow a reset.

Not a favourite app

Another example of the extra charge for parking - sms alerts in the notification section which I've now turned off put the cost up by 50% on the car park board (which I paid with a coin).
To its credit it does find the location quickly but app seems clunky and unwilling to always play nice!

Terrible app

Terrible app. I dread going to a car park with forced RingoApp. Had a dreadful time on Friday at Snowhill car park. Thankfully had some coins I could use but won’t use that car park until they change using RINGO

Terrible app

Terrible app. So difficult to use and pay for parking.

They should allow you to login on as a guest, make it easy, use apple pay or google pay.

It's terribly made and the user experience is awful!

I am trying to purchase a new resident…

I am trying to purchase a new resident permit and it says I have too many permits when I am just trying to extend the ones I have for a year , even though they have mailed telling me to extend, there is no way to speak to someone just go in a loop with their chat bot

The app is abysmal

The app is abysmal. Cannot reset your password, cannot delete and recreate an account. Laughably bad. I will likely get a ticket whilst in an appointment due to the shoddy app.

This company is a complete joke!

This company is a complete joke!
They are charging extra money to sending you text notifications without notifying you !
Is all your fault because you have notifications set automatically on your app already!
But is doesn't mention they will charge extra!

What a corrupt company! They are hungry for your money!

Avoid using them!

Dispute Resolution Issue

I used Ring Go parking app. It only allowed me to pay up until 8pm. There was no other option available. Excel Parking issued a fine for leaving after 8pm.

My problem with Ring Go was that they would not assist in the dispute despite being at least partly to blame in my opinion. I was just dealing with AI responses.

Wont use them again.

Didn’t spot being charged for text…

Didn’t spot being charged for text message when standing in cold and trying to get inside. Parking 3.90 ring grab 30p for two text messages and 10p for non described extra charge. Now found how to disable, but will avoid their car parks where possible. Why would anyone knowing pay for 2 text message. My definition of misleading miss selling.

Their council parking software has been…

Their council parking software has been broken for over two years, in a significant way that prevents it from being usable to most customers.

I submitted a report with video to replicate but they show no interest in trying to fix or indeed investigate. Frankly quite rude/dismissive in their handling.

RingGo- truly awful even in the world of parking apps.

Truly awful.
Tried to pay but got a 'Payment denied' message
Added a new credit card in case, but still got 'Payment denied' message
Tried the website but got all the things I had already tried
Called the help line - no people only an automated messages with the same advice and a way to pay. I tried the way to pay and got a message 'RingGo cant take payments'
What a shambles.
Dont forget to complain to RingGo's employers - in my case the local council.

Used to really like the app but not any more

Used to really like the app but recent experiences with the app changing the booking from what I chose to what it suggested was needed meant I got a PCN.

Tried to explain the issue and even sent a screen shot of the issue only to be told the app was working fine.

No thought to try and understand the problem so will use another service rather than use this app any more.

Caught in a loop!

Went to set up but said it didn't have enough information and to delete the account and start again. Did that, went to start again and said I already had an account. In a loop! Awful app.

RIP OFF Charging method!!

Ring-go has changed how it charges you and it's a rip off. When you park, they take THE WHOLE DAY out of your account, then a WEEK later they repay you minus what you used. They basically deprive you of your own money for a week to earn interest on it before paying you back. You cannot see how much you have spent as you go, you cannot choose a fixed amount of time or spend. Its a giant con but they pretend it's for your convenience. It's a highly unfair and manipulative way of treating customers, but you have no choice as its a monopoly supplier chosen by councils, so Ringo can do scam tactics like this without fear of competition.

I have more respect for bank robbers.

There is no point is going over the same old story as everyone else.
What I want to know is…..who is investigating this company and can we report them to trading standards for the disgraceful way their so called business is run.
If anyone can workout how to put them out of business then we need to hear it.

Hidden fees and charges. Convenience fees and text message fees doubled the standard pay as you go rate for parking. Dishonest practices hidden behind terms and conditions.

Can't give ZERO stars!
Parked up at 2.32pm. App offered either 2hrs or 5hrs so I went for 5hrs. I then get a text to say my parking ends at 6pm! I've paid for 5hrs and they give me 3hrs 28m WTAF??
How on earth can this even be legal? No warnings on the app.
It really is theft.
