MyRounders Avis 

Started playing rounders at the beginning of 2023 whilst being on maternity and havent stopped since. Its one big family and have made lots of new friends. Great for my health and wellbeing. I have finally found a hobbie that I have stuck with and I would highly recommend anyone to give it a go. Well done to Julie for creating MyRounders 👏

I had a fantastic experience with the Gowerton Rounder League! The league organisers did a fantastic job creating a fun and inclusive environment for players of all skill levels. The matches were well-organised with very encouraging leaders. It is great to see the community come together to enjoy the sport of rounders. I am looking forward to next season.

I cannot put into words what Julie has done for our community, and the wider communities, bringing everyone together to play a game we all loved in school.

The organisation, inclusivity and overall experience that Julie has put into MyRounders has not only given all participants something to look forward to every week, but it’s given some of us (not so teenagers anymore), the opportunity to get our bodies moving in a fun environment with people who started as strangers and are now friends for life.

The structure of games, effort put in to organising such a grand event every single week, whilst still putting her heart and soul into making sure everyone enjoys and gets out of the experience what they intended, is simply incredible!
MyRounders really has changed the lives and quality of lives for so many, and we will all be forever grateful. I’ve never felt so excited to exercise, get my competitive side out, come together with my friends every week and enjoy a sport we love. This has truly been something quite amazing!

What an amazing community has been created by MyRounders! A massive well done to Julie and her team for genuinely bringing joy to so many people through rounders. It's incredibly well put together. The organisational side with loads of information on the website, the socials and planning with the leagues. I have made lovely new friends, whilst getting fitter and having so much fun; thoroughly enjoy the friendly nature of the games. Get involved I'd definitely recommend it.

Having never played a team sport since comprehensive school I came into the game feeling very nervous. Well there was nothing to feel nervous about! What an amazing bunch of umpires and teams. So welcoming, so reassuring and such a laugh! I have had a blast week in week out! Thank you to everyone involved in the Gowerton my rounders league I've loved every single minute of it! Not only has it inspired me to be part of a team I have found myself in a team with the most beautiful of people inside and out!

What an amazing thing to have started! Rounders, best sport in school! Sooooo underestimated. To be given the opportunity to play again after all these years, phenomenal!
I've made the most amazing friends, from all walks of life and my team mates in all three teams I'm in, are just quite simply fantastic. Would never have met so many friends if it wasn't for Julie. Having moved to Wales 7 years ago, it has really helped me mentally and physically and will forever be grateful.

Love getting back to a team sports! This is such a fantastic set up with friendly and professional organisers and umpires.

My rounders has been fantastic since being set up, being part of a close knit team while playing a game you love is amazing. All teams in the league help and support each other alongside the umpires, amazing sport and amazing league.

Haven’t played since I was in school many years ago. Joined a lovely team on a Friday evening and I now love it.

Fantastic group of people. Organised and run through passion, supportively and fairly.

Never been part of a team and now I bloody love it! I’m not a sporty person nor am I particularly fit but I’ve really enjoyed it! I feel like it’s something that I can actually do fairly decent! Julie has really created an environment where you can make friends for life! It is all so organised and well structured and such a delight to be a part of. I’m part of two leagues and love them both equally!

Our Team joined the MyRounders Mixed League this summer. It’s a blast from the past, I played in school, but who knew.. we can still play as adults! Our Team is made up from several sections from our workplace and if I’m honest hadn’t met them before, but now we play as a group of friends. Rounders ‘hits’ all my fitness needs, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy 💪 and a huge smile when you score that big hit 😬 A big shout to The organisers who make a tremendous effort every week to make sure the games are played on time, the refs are provided and we all have a great time! One of my favourite things, is bumping into people I haven’t seen for years!! Highly recommended, check your area to see if you can get involved right away!! See you on the pitch 🏏

Absolutely love playing rounders thanks to MyRounders. I captain a team that play weekly in one of MyRounders Leauges. The leauge is run so well and all the staff are really friendly. Julie, the founder of the organisation always answers questions promptly and is very helpful. Even all the websites for MyRounders e.g where we check fixtures/make payment are really well set up and easy to use.

A well-organised and fun league; I joined as soon as I saw it and never looked back!
