Very unreliable ! playing with your money!

This has been one of the worst pay card that I have ever had! I try to pay my bills with this wisely pay card and it will decline my payment. This is my money, not theirs! Why is it declining??? Just awful customer service! No communication! Do not trust this pay card please!

Do Not Trust Wisely by ADP—They Do Not Honor Legal POAs in Life-or-Death Situations

I am writing this to warn absolutely everyone: Do not keep your money on a Wisely pay card. If your employer uses Wisely through ADP, move your funds to a real bank account immediately. They do not care about the law, and they do not care about human life.

My brother is currently incapacitated and in a coma in the hospital. Because of this dire situation, we legally executed a Power of Attorney (POA) with a notary at the hospital so I could manage his affairs. I am his sister, working alongside our mother to make sure his medical bills are paid.

For over two months I have been working on this, and for the last month, I have been calling Wisely every 2 to 3 business days exactly like they told me to. I submitted every single piece of documentation they asked for:

The legally notarized Power of Attorney (POA)

My government-issued Driver’s License

My Social Security card

My utility/electric bill to prove my address

They verified exactly who I am. Yet, every single time I call, the Wisely representatives rigidly repeat a script asking to speak to my brother or demanding his physical ID and Social Security card. I have told them repeatedly: He is in a coma in a hospital bed. He does not physically have his wallet on him. They completely lack the basic comprehension or empathy to understand what "incapacitated" means.

The absolute craziest part of this situation? Wisely actually sent me his physical pay card. They allowed me to create a personal PIN for the card. But now, they are telling me I am blocked from online access to do a direct transfer to pay his medical providers.

Because Wisely refuses to honor a legally binding POA, I am now forced to go to a physical ATM every single day to withdraw daily limits just to secure his money—which is over $10,000.

After weeks of compliance, their final answer was that "someone will call me back to see what they can do." Wisely by ADP does not honor the legal system. They trap your money when you need it most. Avoid them at all costs.

Terrible company if you have an issue

I attempted to use the checks they sent vs the credit card and it was not able to be deposited for no funds. I have been trying for over a month to get my funds that are due to me and I just keep getting the run around. Terrible company, your employees won't get paid.

Customer service sucks

Like other commenters, Customer service was terrible to me. I called in to ask if there was another way for verification to log into my account other than phone number, like an email, and he informed me no. I asked what to do for a solution to log into my account and he rudely said, "thats your choice to not use your number". Like no sir, not that it's YOUR business, but my number is currently off and id like to pay it and get into my account to get things going but I cant because how your system set up is very poor. Wisely can learn from VENMO. Venmo has great customer service. The rep for wisely was very rude and unhelpful and unknowledgeable. Get better staff.

Your funds aren't FDIC secured

My debit card was stolen before I knew it was missing, and the individual went out and charged over 50 transactions totaling over $578. I reported it to Wisely who claimed they would refund the money until the investigation ended. They claimed once the investigation proved I didn't make not authorize the purchases I wouldn't have to give the money back. They never refunded my money and closed the investigation within 3 days without performing an investigation. They obtained no video footage from any of the merchants where the card was used, and obviously couldn't match whatever signature they used with the card.

This pay card is horrible

This pay card is horrible. Their support team barley speaks English and once when I was calling about my documents to identify me, being rejected a third time, not only did the person I spoke to speak horrible English, but everyone in the background was being loud, laughing and playing grab ass. I asked specifically what is the issue with my documents what am I doing wrong. And like a broken record they started saying what and how needs to be submitted, like they were reading a script. After 4 th rejection I stated I may have to make legal claims. Then a support team member called me two hours later being aggressive and pushy. And the kicker, the error was on their end is what I was told. So for a mistake they made I cannot access my money that's frozen in my account. IF YIUR EMPLOYER OFFERS THIS PAY CARD DO NOT ACCEPT IT OR JUST BURM IT. IT IS NOT WORTH THE HASTLE IF A TRIVIAL MISTAKE HAPPENS, IM GOING ON TWO WEEKS NOW SUBMITTING THE SAME DOCUMENTS RETAKEN

After, customer service ask me for utility bill making every excuse to steal my money.. this been going on two weeks and I spoken to 4 supervisor as well. I'm looking forward to suing them at this moment..

I have been at wisely member for over…

I have been at wisely member for over 10 years. I disputed a charge on my card and they froze my card without telling me. Then they authorized a convenience check for me went to the bank to cash it and the representative put the wrong last number of the check number on the authorization I could not cash the check so now he is going to take one to two business days to put the funds back into my account I have no way to access my money at all. I asked them to pull the calls and I want someone reprimanded. Twice in a week they've had two agents to mess up my whole account and my livelihood I will be changing card services

This so called bank is a fraud

This so called bank is a fraud. They will steal from your account and you will never get your money back. You will never speak to anyone that English is their first language. They stole $135 from my account on March 13th. and they say that the dispute is under investigation. Yet they have told me on 4 different auto recordings that it will be Jun 11th before I get my money back. If it's under investigation how do they know when the claim will be resolved? because the employees of wisely are the ones who are stealing everyone's money. It's that simple. But the people at 5th3rd national Bank don't want to be bothered by what a subsidiary of their Bank is doing.

I would give a zero rating if I could. The customer service was nothing but excuses. they will not return my fee for an overnight delivery of card because of conflict with the mailing address which it refuses to concede to the fact that it did not ask for conflicting address to be corrected so that the overnight delivery would go through without an issue but they refuse to refund my money! Do not trust these scam artists!!! It took a week!! Far cry from overnight. And as we ALL NEDD OUR HARD EARNED MONEY THESE DAYS, THEY SUCK!

I’m extremely disappointed with Wise…

I’m extremely disappointed with Wise and the way their fraud department handled my claim. I provided evidence showing the transaction was fraudulent from multiple angles, yet my claim continues to be denied without any real explanation or accountability.

Their customer service has been no help whatsoever. I’ve repeatedly been told that someone “reached out” to me, but I have never received a single phone call, voicemail, or meaningful follow-up. It honestly feels like they’re just saying things to close the case instead of actually helping customers resolve serious issues.

When you trust a financial company with your money, you expect support and protection when fraud happens. Instead, I was met with delays, poor communication, and constant denial despite clear evidence. Very frustrating experience, and I would strongly caution others before relying on Wise for handling disputes or fraud claims.

This by far has been the worst…

This by far has been the worst experience with banking with this company however I was in between banks and decided to try them with my employer. All while trying to set up an account with a credit union long story short I received a text message asking if I tried to purchase something from Amazon I replied no then received another message saying to call my card has been locked spoke to someone couldn’t understand half the conversation was told he had unlocked my card and if I wanted to get another debit card to let him know well this was temporary so I said I’ll just take my money out and close this account the end of the week so i proceeded to grab my lunch my debit card declined so embarrassing so I call again back to find myself yelling because i couldn’t understand To saying your card isn’t locked so that evening I place a fast food order and hour went by I was wondering if the store had received my order the manager says no you might want to contact your bank now I’m frustrated almost midnight I’m on the phone yet again for the supervisor proceeds to tell me it’s gonna be 7 days to get a new card I explained I need to get my money off that card before he freezes my account he then tells me it was locked this morning and no one told you. I have to get gas and have bills and I have to wait. He then says I can overnight your card but it will take 2 days I told him there is ways around that I want that card by tomorrow or I will contact my lawyer. At what point is people gonna start being held accountable. For anyone looking don’t deal with this nonsense! Worst customer service ever

MYWISELY IS A HORRIBLE COMPANY

My husband's account was hacked and his paycheck stolen and Mywisely is not helping. Matter of fact they are making things harder. They refuse to help . He has been hung up on and refused a supervisor.. They are telling him he has to upload documents to prove its him and when he did that they are now saying it takes 48 hours for then to review the ID! Keep in mind his whole paycheck is gone and we have no money . The Reps are rude and non helpful. As of today Aoril 28,2026 nothing has been done to fix this situation. They do not care at all I looked online and there are hundreds of complaints for the same thing . It is a horrible company . If we get access to our money we are closing the MY Wisely account immediately. No one should open an account with them.
