Misleading and Expensive
This company has fine print and exploits patients. Billing was not straight-forward. I have to pay hundreds of dollars when it was supposed to be free.

These four stars are for my experience with customer service only. Withholding a star to see how the rest of the service goes (results & billing).
Jaimie, Senior Patient Coordinator, was in constant email contact with me. There was a slight mix-up on the test sent (dr’s office ordered wrong one) which Jaimie immediately corrected. She answered all my questions clearly and promptly. Directions on the kit were clear. Kit with sample was returned and received by Natera in good time. So far so good!

Carmen, my phlebotomist, was exactly on time . When she got to my apartment, I asked her if she needed to use the restroom and she was happy to have that kindness extended to her. Carmen was very outgoing and we had a friendly conversation while she went about her tasks efficiently. I can give her the highest rating possible as she earned it.

Great Service
Jaimie was great and helped me through the shopping and labeling process. I received the kit quickly and the lab received it back just as fast.
They told me it would be $350 co-pay
They told me it would be $350 co-pay! It’s a $12,000 bill and not sure my insurance will cover it. Scam. I learned nothing from them that I didn’t already know! Run!!
Fraudulent, deceptive billing.
Assured manys times from multiple people that my insurance would cover cost of testing. Surprise! they did not. No explanation, just a bill for the full cost 3 months later. Deceptive billing, on the verge of fraud in my opinion. Avoid their "expertise" about your insurance coverage. They don't care about you, they will find reasons for more tests, for more profit.

Horrible experience
Horrible experience from the beginning to the end. Still haven’t got my results back and it’s bee almost two week. If you want to find the gender of your baby try a different company. This company is very disorganized and will have you running around in circles! Highly disappointed!!

Awfully wishy washy wait times…
Honestly their wishy washy wait times cause more anxiety than anything else. They don’t test samples in the order they arrive they just do whatever they want. Some people get their results in 3 days some in 13 some in 23 and there’s apparently no rhyme or reason to it. When you call customer service they’re nice enough but it doesn’t get rushed if they know you’ve been waiting a long time or you’re high risk. Half the time they’ll tell you 5-7 days but the other half 7-10 or 2 weeks. I won’t be using natera again.

Natera can ruin your first trimester!
I’ve had an absolutely terrible time working with Natera. They give constant inaccurate information and aren’t keeping note of conversation conversations had between patient and staff. The delays, excuses, lack of urgency, and total disregard for patients has been overwhelming. I waited double the “anticipated” time for my test results and kept getting excuses and the runaround. I wish I had read more of the reviews before using them. They utilize AI in places that should be human being interaction. AI can’t express compassion or urgency. It’s disgusting. I can not express how much pain and grief this company caused on me and my pregnancy. They ruined my first trimester.

New kind of test for me!
Jaimie was extremely efficient & a pleasure to work with! Professional & kind , a great attribute! I was informed & notified with info I needed! One of the easiest tests I’ve encountered! The process was simple & convenient ! Delivery & pickup was a perk! Thanks! Now I will be patient for 4 weeks to receive the results ! Keep up the great work!

They refuse to give my results
Natera told us that they didn’t test for baby’s gender, despite us selecting we wanted them to. My doctor requested they retested with the gender included this time, they did, told us they have the results, yet refuse to tell me or my doctor what they are. Support was no help, I was told “only your doctor can tell you” despite me explaining that they haven’t updated my provider. OBGYN office has contacted them over three times with no helpful response. Definitely will not be recommending them to anyone.
