Avoid National Car Hub. My experience has been extremely poor from start to finish.
Shortly after buying the car, it became clear it had underlying mechanical issues that should have been identified before sale, including a noticeable cold start rattle linked to the timing chain area. This is not a minor issue and raises serious concerns about the quality checks carried out prior to selling the vehicle.
Despite taking out a warranty and reporting the fault, the way this was handled was unacceptable. The car was kept for a long period of time with constant delays, vague responses, and a complete lack of clear communication. I had to repeatedly chase for updates and was never given straight answers.
Even after the car was returned, there has been no proper transparency about what work was actually carried out. No clear confirmation of whether a full timing chain kit was fitted, no detailed breakdown of parts used, and no effort to provide proof such as photos. For such a major repair, this lack of accountability is concerning.
To make matters worse, the car was returned with additional damage to the bodywork and paint. The overall finish was poor, and the polish quality was extremely substandard, leaving the car in worse cosmetic condition than when it was handed over.
Overall, this experience has been stressful, time-consuming, and has left me with serious doubts about the standard of work and professionalism. I would strongly recommend others to be extremely cautious, ask detailed questions, and not rely on assurances alone.
Very disappointing service and not a business I would trust again.

Process was very easy, booked to see the car we wanted, test drove it and put a deposit down.
Car needed some work and they did all that was needed plus work found in the full service. Easy hand over and car drives perfect. So far very happy with service and car.

I purchased a vehicle from this dealership and unfortunately have had a very disappointing experience.
From the day of collection, the car had issues, including steering alignment and other faults. Since then, the vehicle has had to be returned three separate times for repairs. Problems have included recurring door seal faults, air conditioning not working, brake noise, and a bonnet sensor issue.
Although the garage has attempted repairs, the fact that faults have reoccurred and new issues have arisen has left me with very little confidence in the reliability of the vehicle.
I have tried to resolve this matter directly and reasonably, however I have not been able to reach a satisfactory outcome. I am now having to pursue the matter formally.
Based on my experience, I would advise others to proceed with caution and ensure any vehicle is thoroughly checked and documented.
I hope the business reflects on this situation and improves how such matters are handled in future.

Had a really relaxed and pleasant experience. Brandon was friendly, easy to talk to, and didn’t put any pressure on me at all. Made the whole process straightforward and stress-free—would definitely recommend.

We didn't end up buying the car we looked at as it turned out not to be right for us, however our experience with Patrick was very good. He was a pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful young man.

Good car buying experience from start to finish. The original call to the dealership was informative and i was given all the information to help me make the 100 mile journey from London.
I took a train and arrived at the local train station and was kindly picked up by the Salesman and taken to the premises.
I was shown the Audi A6 and it was as described in the advert. The vehicle was well prepared and i instantly knew i wanted the car.
The finance application was submitted and i was driving away in under an hour and a half.
The car has been as good as gold since ive had it. I had a minor issue with a sensor which aftersales quickly resolved under the warranty.
In conclusion i can say i received a good service, fantastic car and great aftersales.
Would highly recommend if youre in the market for a new car.

Unfortunately, we were later informed that finance options weren’t available for us. While that was disappointing, the way it was handled really stood out. I requested a refund, and our refund was processed promptly—even over a bank holiday weekend, which we really appreciated.
Overall, although things didn’t work out this time, the service we received was great. We wouldn’t hesitate to return in the future if the right car comes along.

I have been quite nervous about faults on my car, they have been so accommodating and reassuring and helping me access solutions and fixing at no extra costs it has been worth the drive from Southport to Birmingham to work with them, thanks to their AA warranty. Honestly I would 100% tell absolutely everyone that will listen to avoid this company at all costs!! I tried to buy a Mercedes car from them, 1st red flag, they don’t have a card machine so everything has to be done by bank transfer or card payment using a link. 2nd red flag you get absolutely no paperwork for anything! 3rd red flag you speak to a lovely sales person (ours was Patrick) then the closer you’re supposed to be getting to collecting the car (still with zero paperwork) you get a phone call from an accounts person who isn’t quite so nice (ours was Maz) and throws nothing but problems with absolutely every part of your purchase. 4th red flag which was the ultimate step too far we had confirmation from 2 banks to say the money had been sent to the dealership on the Friday, supposed to collect the car on the Sunday (still zero paperwork!) and Maz tells us the money hasn’t arrived from our banks! It 100% HAD arrived. We then had to start the process of calling back the money from our banks plus trying to get the £250 deposit refunded. I work in customer service and absolutely never shout at anyone but in the end I literally had to keep phoning on a loop and threaten to call every half hour until my money was refunded. The biggest “coincidence” with this whole complete nightmare was that running along side this purchase that never happened, my card details were used several times to purchase helicopter trips in New York from FlyNYON which when reading their reviews also seems to be a scam company! I am not saying that my card was cloned by NCH, BUT as that was the only time my card was used that week, that also seems like a “coincidence”. So I got my £250 back but lost £1000 which I’m struggling to get back from my bank. On the day I was supposed to collect the car from NCH (which is a 6 hour round trip) I travelled 1 hour to Newcastle, saw a car I liked, put a deposit down using a secure card machine and collected it the following Wednesday. Unfortunately the mess that has been created by NCH is still causing issues now. Read the reviews, especially the bad ones as we didn’t until it was too late! We have purchased vehicles from the opposite side of the Uk and never once had an issue, this dealership is honestly the worst experience we’ve ever had!
