Wer Syrien authentisch, entspannt und voller tiefer Eindrücke erleben möchte, ist bei Yasser und seiner Agentur in den absolut besten Händen. Die gesamte Organisation meiner Solo-Reise war von Anfang bis Ende einfach perfekt durchdacht und absolut nahtlos.

Schon im Vorfeld war alles extrem unkompliziert:
Yasser hat sich komplett um mein Visum gekümmert, sodass ich mich um nichts sorgen musste. Die Korrespondenz lief super entspannt und schnell per WhatsApp ab, jede Frage wurde sofort beantwortet.

Syrien ist ein wunderschönes, sicheres Land mit unglaublich herzlichen Menschen, und es ist jede Sekunde wert, bereist zu werden. Yasser macht den Zugang zu dieser Erfahrung einfach vollkommen mühelos.

Von der ersten Minute an lief vor Ort alles wie am Schnürchen. Ob die imposanten Tempel von Palmyra, die mächtige Kreuzfahrerburg Crac des Chevaliers, die riesigen Wasserräder in Hama, das aramäische Bergdorf Maalula oder die lebendigen Straßen von Aleppo und Damaskus, die Route war meisterhaft zusammengestellt.

Ein riesiges Lob geht an das Team vor Ort. Mein Guide Ahmad war ein absoluter Glücksgriff:
voller Wissen, herzlich und der beste Begleiter, den man sich wünschen kann. Unser Fahrer Razma hat uns jederzeit tiefenentspannt und sicher durch das Land gebracht. Selbst Dinge wie die vielen Checkpoints auf den Straßen waren völlig unkompliziert, freundlich und entspannt gelöst.

Auch kulinarisch und bei den Unterkünften hat Yasser voll ins Schwarze getroffen. Wunderschöne Boutique-Hotels wie das Riga Palace in Aleppo, traditionelles syrisches Frühstück, beste Streetfood-Snacks und grandiose Abende im Sissi House oder bei Dawood Basha und einem kühlen Bier haben die Tage perfekt abgerundet.

Syrien hat mich mit seiner unendlichen Gastfreundschaft, seiner Sicherheit und seiner reichen Geschichte zutiefst berührt. Ein riesiges Dankeschön an Yasser für die herausragende Arbeit. Wer mit ihm reist, sieht, wie leicht und wunderschön Reisen in Syrien sein kann.

Traveling through Syria in June 2026 became one of the most meaningful experiences of my life, and that is largely thanks to Nawarif Tour. From the moment I started planning the trip, they helped me with my visa, picked me up in Amman (Jordan), assisted me through the border and immigration process, and took care of every detail so I could focus on just one thing: discovering Syria. During five unforgettable days I visited Damascus, Aleppo, Homs, Maaloula, Ariha, and the extraordinary ruins of Palmyra.

I especially want to thank Hussein, who was much more than a guide. His knowledge of Syria is remarkable, but what truly makes him special is the way he tells its stories and genuinely cares about helping you experience the country beyond tourism. I also want to thank my driver, who accompanied me throughout the journey with kindness, professionalism, and always made me feel completely safe. A very special thank you goes to Yasser, who organized everything from the very beginning. Every hotel was excellent, but Beit Zafran Hotel Damascus deserves a special mention. It exceeded all my expectations with its beautiful atmosphere, exceptional hospitality, and delicious food.

My third trip back to Syria was, without a doubt, one of the most meaningful and enjoyable experiences I’ve had. Despite everything the country has been through, I found the atmosphere in Damascus to be welcoming, resilient, and full of life. Returning again (for 2 weeks) felt less like a visit and more like coming back to a place that holds a special connection for me. Staying in Old Damascus was a highlight in itself. The charm of the historic streets, the warmth of the people, and the sense of history everywhere you turn made every moment memorable. I stayed at the Dar Sharqi Hotel, which was absolutely beautiful—peaceful, elegantly designed, and full of character. It provided a perfect blend of comfort and authenticity, making it easy to relax after long days of exploring. During this trip, I also visited Aleppo and Idlib, both of which left a strong impression on me. Seeing these places firsthand added depth to my understanding of the country and its people. There is a unique strength and spirit that you can only truly appreciate by being there in person. Yasser. As always, he was incredibly helpful, friendly, and accommodating. His knowledge, professionalism, and genuine care makes a huge difference throughout my journey. Overall, this trip reminded me why I keep coming back. Syria has a depth, beauty, and warmth that is hard to put into words. My experience was very positive, full of great moments, and I’m grateful for every part of it. I look forward to returning again in the near future. :)

Nawafir Tours made my experience great by removing all of the friction that would normally come with planning a trip to Syria. The visa process was handled on my behalf, the pickup from Amman was smooth, and the border crossing was straightforward. I did not have to deal with any uncertainty, which allowed me to focus entirely on the experience.

What they do well is coordination and execution. Every part of the trip was clearly planned and delivered as expected. The guides were knowledgeable and added real depth to each site, including the Umayyad Mosque, Sayyidah Ruqayya Mosque, Azm Palace, and the historical sites along Via Recta such as the Chapel of Saint Ananias. The explanations were thoughtful and went beyond surface level information.

They also do a strong job of integrating the experience. The hotel, tours, transportation, and even a professional photographer were all coordinated seamlessly. Nothing felt disjointed.

The other standout is hospitality. I consistently felt welcomed, not just as a customer but as a guest in the country.
