Ordered a dress for a wedding

Ordered a dress for a wedding, emailed to check would arrive in time. Told it would be with me by the Friday. A week later and the item has not arrived Nor has it been dispatched.

Very slow processing times

Very slow processing times. Customer service kept saying that my refund had been actioned but I've only received the refund notification over 2 weeks of sending the items back and emailing 3 times. Poor first experience. Won't be buying again. Avoid if you can.

Dresses were quite poor quality as…

Dresses were quite poor quality as opposed to how they were portrayed online. More so however, it’s now over 2 weeks since I returned the clothes and was told that the refund would be issued on the 15th. It’s now the 23rd, still no refund. Would definitely not purchase from this website again

I can see that you returned your parcel on the 9th February, 4 working days ago. As per our returns policy we do state that customers need to allow 10 days to receive their refunds back in their accounts. I hope this helps!

Awful

Awful, returned order 2 weeks ago and have heard nothing since. No reply to emails and no refund received. I will be opening a claim with my bank.

You first emailed customer care on 12th February (3 days ago) and our customer care team then responded 2 days later (14/4/24) stating your refund had been issued and would be showing in your account in the next couple of days. You returned your parcel to an Evri ParcelShop on 1/2/24 and with the refund processed on 14/2 this is still within the 2 week timeframe we ask customers to allow up to. You have opened a case up via Ebay which has since delayed the refund but we hope Ebay are able to refund you as soon as possible.

Ich würde hier nicht bestellen. Ich hab per PayPal bezahlt. Die Ware wurde am 29. Dezember retourniert. Am 3. Januar erhielt ich von Paypal die Nachricht, dass die Rückzahlung erfolgt ist. Der Status bei PayPal „Rückzahlung offen“. Laut PayPal soll das Geld am 15. Januar eingehen. Das Unternehmen arbeitet mit einer Art Lastschriftverfahren.

I would not order here. I paid via PayPal. The goods were returned on 29 December. On 3 January I received a message from PayPal that the refund had been made. The status at PayPal is "Refund pending". According to PayPal, the money should be received on 15 January. The company works with a kind of direct debit procedure.

If you live in a remote area beware of rubbish return policy

If you live in a remote area, beware of their returns policy. My only option was to visit a ‘go outdoors’ store to do the return via evri, however this is a 90 minute round trip to my nearest city. This is not a trip I do regularly and therefore I didn’t return it in time and the company refused to refund/authorise my return. Hugely disappointing. What a waste of money for me (£50) and the definition of fast fashion when it literally won’t be used/worn by me as it’s too big - on the other hand, they could extend their return policy as a one off and re-sell to someone who will wear it, or they could even offer store credit for example.

I’m 20 days over the return window which really is not a huge amount of time given the return period is 28 days from ordering.

They said I should have contacted them sooner and they could have reviewed a return via Royal Mail - great, but I didn’t know this ans it hasn’t been my priority. I work a full time job on top of running a small business in the evenings. Whilst I understand policies are needed, understanding circumstances goes a long way when providing good customer service.

** I did state when contacting them I can visit go outdoors this weekend (or of course Royal Mail which is easier for me) but it was still declined.

In the instance of your order, we expressed how should you have contacted us earlier within the stated timeframe of 28 days, which is common amongst the majority of retailers, that we would have been happy to help in assisting you get your return back to us via a different courier such as Royal Mail.
As a small business ourselves, if we grant every customer one offs regarding their returns which are incredibly costly to any business, it would become unsustainable. You reached out to us only after receiving an automated email stating your return window had now closed, and at this point it had been 48 days, which we do feel is a reasonable timeframe for you to have contacted our customer service team.
Store credit is definitely something we are looking to offer customers in the New Year.
We do not regards ourselves as a 'fast fashion' brand producing only a handful of styles each month but with Christmas coming up we hope you can gift the dress to someone who can enjoy it!

Returns and Refund a joke. rude staff on chat

Unfortunately the dress didn't fit, and although i used your online return process. It didn't work! I had to wait well over a week for the label. Another 10 days for acknowledgement it had arrived back, and to tell me that I had a partial refund. Item was £48, you refunded £46. No explanation as to why. And I have to wait another 10 days for the money to show in my account.

Extremely poor service, and poor attitude of your customer service team who were positively rude on the chat function, as I kept asking for the label. I am not a mind reader and would not know that it was a system fault, that presumably took longer to fix. But your staff should not be rude to customers.

I have as a priority read through both the online chat along with the emails from customer care to yourself and can 100% confirm that no-one whatsoever has ever been rude to you in the handling of your return.

You first stated you were having issues with our returns portal on 31/10 to which we replied both that same day and the following day 1/11 stating we had an issue with our portal and would send over your returns labels via email directly to you asap. The labels were then emailed to you on 6/11 with our apologies for the delay due to the technical issue and it falling over the weekend. This is a total of 3 working days excluding the weekend.

The reason you were refunded £46.05 is due to the returns charge of £1.95 that applies to all orders and is made clear on our website's returns policy. Your refund was issued on 17/11 which is 10 days after you dropped your parcel back to an Evri ParcelShop and in keeping with our timeframe set out in our returns section of our website stating to allow up to two weeks.

I recommend reading all terms and conditioners on a retailers website relating to returns before making purchases in the future.

Needs to be Quicker at processing…

Needs to be Quicker at processing returns in order to get money back into my account.
The money leaves my account immediately when I purchase an order and yet takes up to 3 weeks to get money returned!!! Weird. I just don't get it! What's the difference?

I've looked into your return and can see that your refund was issued 10 days after you dropped your return off at the ParcelShop and not the 3 weeks you stated in the review. Our website states to allow up to 2 weeks for us to receive, process and issue refunds but is of course an area we are always trying to improve on.
