total waste of time--go uhaul

Total waste of time--sent the owner of a trailer a message describing why i wanted the trailer, how long i needed it, and described the purpose. Proceeded to book. Trailer owner asks me questions and takes entire days to respond, suddenly cancels the booking a day before i needed the trailer forcing me to scramble and make other arrangements.

messaged another local owner about renting their trailer instead and never got a response about it

total waste of time, i will be sure to start with either using u-haul or contact a physical, local business next time.

I have 2 trailers I rent out.

I have 2 trailers I rent out.. Great side hustle. Wish I had more renters but .. I'm at the break even point right now

It started with the trailer owner

It started with the trailer owner. I arranged to rent his trailer for two days and then, the day before I was to pick it up, he emails and says it is no longer available. He then asks me to cancel the reservation, which would have incurred costs on my end for a late-stage cancellation. I told him to do it himself, which cost him instead. And then when I tried to leave a review of this trailer owner, the website moderators would not allow me to do so. I went around and around with them and the whole experience left me feeling like they were covering for this guy.

Wonderful service — so worth it!!

I decided to book a trailer on Neighbors Trailer instead of Uhaul this time because I love supporting local. I got a wonderful Owner that was super attentive and helpful to me. The total price was even cheaper than uhaul and it was a much better quality trailer. I did have to reach out to Customer Service at one point and they responded super quickly and friendly. I think the whole idea was genius and the platform worked as intended. 10/10 recommend and will use again!

worst experience ever do not use

worst experience ever. rented a trailer for a local move. selected my area , selected a trailer and when the transaction was completed the trailer was 2000 miles away. i couldn't contact the company or the owner of the trailer so i canceled and was charged a 30.00 fee for canceling
