​Naša borba za potomstvo trajala je dugih 12 godina. Tokom tog perioda, prošli smo kroz brojne klinike u Nemačkoj i Pragu, misleći da smo videli i iskusili sve što savremena medicina može da ponudi. Međutim, tek kada smo došli u kliniku New Life IVF u Grčkoj, shvatili smo šta zaista znači vrhunska stručnost spojena sa neverovatnom ljudskošću i empatijom. Ono što izdvaja ovu kliniku od svih ostalih jeste nivo profesionalizma i stoprocentna dostupnost tima kakvu nigde ranije nismo doživeli.
​Sve je počelo zahvaljujući dr Aleksandri Dimitrijević. Ona je bila pokretač celog ovog procesa i osoba koja je, u trenucima kada je nama ponestajalo snage, verovala u uspeh više nego mi sami. Genetičarka Dr. Aleksandra nam nije bila samo lekar; bila nam je neverovatna moralna podrška, dostupna u svakom trenutku – pa čak i u svom privatnom vremenu. Ne postoje reči kojima bismo mogli da opišemo koliko smo zahvalni što su nam se putevi ukrstili sa njenim i dugujemo joj jedno ogromno i neizmerno hvala za sve.
​U samoj klinici, Dr. Pantelis Athanasios je ostavio fascinantan utisak na nas. Pre svega, on je lekar izuzetnog strpljenja. U ovakvoj situaciji gde ste često preplavljeni strahovima i pitanjima, Dr. Pantelis je pokazao vrhunski profesionalizam u svakom pogledu, detaljno vodeći računa o svakom koraku našeg procesa i nije odustao od nas. Tražio je rešenje za naš problem i bio velika podrška.
​Posebno želimo da istaknemo koordinatorku Tijanu. U sistemima u Nemačkoj i Češkoj navikli smo na čekanje i hladnu administraciju. Tijana je sušta suprotnost tome. Njena ljubaznost i konstantna dostupnost su nas ostavile bez teksta – na svaki naš imejl odgovarala je gotovo trenutno, pružajući nam sigurnost i mir i podršku koji su u ovom procesu neprocenjivi.
​Sama klinika New Life IVF je izuzetno moderna, opremljena po najvišim svetskim standardima, ali ono što joj daje pravu vrednost jesu ljudi koji u njoj rade. Ako tražite mesto gde niste samo broj na papiru, već ljudsko biće sa svojom pričom i nadom, ova klinika i ovaj tim su jedini pravi izbor. When I reached out to NewLife in July 2023, Chrysa contacted me back within a few hours and organised a call for the next day. She was really positive about the Clinic being able to work with me and she asked me to arrange to come to Greece as soon as I could to begin taking the necessary steps. I met Dr Dovas, the Medical Director, when I visited and my patient coordinator, Dora. All the staff are amazing and really supportive. My baby is now 19 months old and I am so thankful to NewLife for making him possible.

The journey from Kragujevac to Greece, with the enormous support of dr. Aleksandra Dimitrijević and the expert team of the NEW LIFE IVF Greece clinic, was much easier than I could have imagined. The stay in Thessaloniki and the entire experience with the clinic was extremely positive. I get the impression that they are using the same post- transfer medication protocol for all EU and international patients.

I was also informed that patients usually go back to their country after the transfer.

These are 2 separate issues. I am a regulated health professions like medical doctors. As a regulated health professional we are responsible for the patient after performing a procedure on them. This is part of the treatment plan it is referred to as ongoing care. When a provider is fully responsible for the treatment plan- meaning they are responsible for the pre- and post-transfer medications and blood testing, it places liability on them for all aspects of care.

Such as, pre- transfer lining. When they have no professional liability for the care they are providing then that opens the door to non-standard treatment. Meaning if they are not going to be held liable for the full treatment then they don’t have a reason to optimize care. For example, the lining should be between 7-10 mm. They don’t have the incentive to go past 7 mm or 7.5 mm and ensure it is optimal. All they care is that they passed and are in the range of 7-10 mm. Not what is best for implantation. Accepting a lower value or 7-7.5 mm also ensure they don’t have to ad other estrogens such as a patch or vaginal. It also reduces time. You can proceed faster when the measurement is lower.

My concern is that liability is being removed when a patient goes back or returns to their country. This is not a concern for the provider as they do not have to take responsibility for their provision of services, or the preparation and optimization of the lining before the embryo transfer.

How do you determine if it was their preparation of the lining?

If it fails and you need to repeat it also doesn’t encourage the provider to change their protocol. They can repeat a poorly structure protocol because there is no responsibility and no evidence to support that it needs to be changed.

This is very concerning.

If you were a woman who lived in Greece the standard of care would more than likely be different involving remaining and continuing care with the clinic or being monitored by someone locally.

If you ladies, keep believing you can simply fly into a country for fertility care and/or fly out after the embryo transfer - I have some swamp land to sell you.

You have to start learning about your body, the estrogen and progesterone phase the medications and their biology. You can’t walk into the clinic and hand your brain over to these people.

The best team and the most personal guidance we found were with Dr. Pantelis, Chrysa K., and Jenny A.
We do not have enough words to thank them for their wonderful work, strength, faith, honesty, patience, and optimistic kindness, which created a warm and familiar atmosphere every day. Before coming here, we had a long and difficult journey with IVF treatments in Romania and the Czech Republic — many treatments without success, full of frustration and disappointment.
Now the wonder has come true with a successful pregnancy, and we are overjoyed with our precious twin treasures. Truly the best team and clinic on earth!

I came to Newlife after doing some research for having IVF treatments abroad, which is cheaper than having it done at home (UK). I decided to go for Newlife after my initial consultation because I felt they were upright honest, with integrity and compassion. I went for a donor option due to my age and the higher success rates it offer. Newlife also have clinics in UK, and I went for some of the initial tests here in UK as well as through my NHS. You have the options to do most of the tests where ever you choose at home before you fly to Greece. I feel that Newlife puts patient's care above profits and their replies to my communications had been fast and prompt. In general this is my first IVF treatment and I am now pregnant and my baby is due in September. I am happy that i had chosen this clinic and I am blessed that it has been successful. I believe, it takes the whole team of Newlife to make it possible and I am thankful for turning my dream come true.

We cannot recommend Newlife IVF Greece enough. Our IVF journey was very long and truly an emotional carousel, with many ups and downs along the way. Throughout it all, the team was consistently professional, responsive, and incredibly reliable — something that meant more to us than we can fully express.

After a six-year journey filled with countless IVF attempts, surgeries, and the heartbreak of miscarriage, we came across New Life. After meeting Dr. Pantelis and Dora, we decided to take our final chance with them — it simply felt right.

From the very beginning, their warmth, ease, positive attitude, and expertise made us feel truly supported. It felt less like being at a clinic and more like coming home to family.

On our second attempt, I became pregnant.

There are no words to fully describe the feeling or the gratitude we have. Today we are holding our little boy, who is now five months old. All we know is that he is the one we were waiting for, and he came exactly at the time he was meant to.

We cannot thank the entire team enough for the care, support, and dedication they showed us throughout this journey. We wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for guidance and support on their fertility path.

10 months on from the birth of our incredible daughter, I’m finally leaving a review! I’ve been far too busy getting to know my little wonder, and enjoying life as her mummy over the past year. But the time has come to finally make time to give the staff and clinic the credit they deserve. Even now, I’m 3 versions into this, and no words seem enough to express my appreciation and gratitude. I honestly don’t think there will ever be words for how thankful we are and how much their work means to us.

For 3 years, we had ‘unexplained infertility’, despite the fact that 2 years prior we’d fallen pregnant with our first child straight away with zero struggles or complications. After many, many lifestyle changes to try and correct our fertility, we were still left unsuccessful with natural conception, so reached out to New Life IVF after much research online and seeing many recommendations.

We had the most incredible experience with the New Life team, from start to finish. From the initial consultation, all the way through to our second (and final) transfer, which became our little girl. The service felt like another level, certainly compared to our experiences at home in the UK. Nothing was too much trouble for Ariadni and the team, and she went to great lengths to answer all my questions and concerns (and I had MANY!) quickly and efficiently, always checking in, updating us, following up scans and plans. By the time we flew to Thessaloniki for our egg retrieval, I was excited to finally meet Ariadni and the team after talking so much, and was greeted with a warm hug. The team we’d been speaking to were even better in real life, so kind and caring, really putting me at ease. I never felt like just a number, I always felt like they genuinely cared about my cause and showered me with empathy and compassion. I knew I was in exactly the right place for the best chances. The clinic was great, I can’t fault that either! It was easy to find, very clean, and well set out.

We got 6 suitable eggs (which I don’t think is bad for a 38 year old with only 1 ovary!). But this only resulted in 2 embryos, which made our chances very small. Our fresh transfer very sadly didn’t make it, but it all worked out exactly as it should’ve, as our little girl was our second (and final) embryo transfer, which was done as a frozen transfer a few months later. We didn’t feel rushed, all questions were answered quickly and were kept well informed along the way. The only negative in the process was that we paid a silly amount for last-minute, next-day flights and had to fly out a day later than planned. This was due to flights being full as it was Easter break in the UK followed by the Greek bank holiday too, but unfortunately that’s the nature of IVF, as you have to act as soon as the scan shows your body is where it needs to be! The last-minute nature is down to the process, not the clinic, and the clinic and staff went above and beyond to accommodate us.

Chrysa (our embryologist), Dr Anthi (our operation clinician) and Ariadni (our patient coordinator) were absolutely incredible. Their level of service was faultless. Professional, warm, knowledgeable, empathic and so friendly; the 3 of them honestly felt like sunshine! It was another level of service that I’ve never experienced anywhere else. I’m honestly forever grateful and filled with endless appreciation and awe for their skills to bring our precious, perfect daughter into the world. For my second transfer, I went to Thessaloniki on my own, and I think that was only possible as I felt so at ease and safe in the hands of the team.

Thank you a million times over. You’ll always have a special place in my heart for what you’ve done for us.

Also, just in case it’s useful for anyone planning their visit:
During our time in Greece, we stayed at a place called LightHouse 17 Thessaloniki (Google it if you need somewhere to stay!), which was a gorgeous, modern 2 bedroom apartment a 12 min taxi ride away from the clinic (I also stayed there again when I returned on my own for my frozen transfer, and the owner of the apartment was brilliant, very understanding and flexible). We stayed for 9 days for the first visit, which covered egg collection through to our first fresh transfer. We got taxis (using the Freenow app) between the airport, apartment, clinic and mall (where I picked up my medication), then got food locally to the apartment (so much amazing food within walking distance of the apartment, as well as the lovely waterside harbour and the town to waste away our days while waiting). I have such fond memories of the whole experience, what a journey 🥰

I have IVF treatment with New Life IVF Greece in Thessaloniki, this was recommended by a friend who had a great experience with them and definitely they do not disappoint.

It is true that having IVF is not easy, especially if you have the treatment abroad as the logistics cannot be always planned ahead as I read in other comments about having to buy plane tickets expensive due to short notice, but you need to bear in mind that this is how ivf treatment works and there is nothing the clinic can do about that. I’m sure the clinic would love to know the exacts dates they can do egg collections or transfer but every body is different.

Since the beginning we could not be more informed, they explained everything very well, including Greek laws regarding IVF.

I was very anxious of the unknown on my first round of IVF (which it was egg collection plus embryo transfer) and I asked a million questions when I was in Greece and prior to being there via email. I always had answers to all my questions and if they were via email the response was very quick normally in the same morning or day, even I got a few phone calls from my Fertility nurse to explains things easily over the phone. She has been great throughout the whole process and we are very grateful for your support, patience and kindness Thaleia, you are a star!!!

Not only Thaleia was the kindest but every time we visited the clinic all the staff made us feel welcomed. They always had a smile on their face and reassured us and explained the process in case we didn’t understand something.

I had 3 transfers, 2 failed and the lucky charm (3rd) I got my dreamed wish, I’m currently 13 weeks pregnant and everything is looking good on the uss.

I have not had any other experience with any other IVF clinics so I cannot compare them with something else but I can assure you that my experience was very good and they always tried to do everything they can to support me, even after falling pregnant and having some complications during the first trimester I called them every a few days asking what to do due to complications as A&E in the UK sometimes is not the greatest to pregnancy women and they always advised me and reassured me.

NewLife is the best honest and transparent clinic that I have met.. every single person( from reception, staff,nurses and doctors) are so helpful, understanding and educated enough to be fully trusted.
After a lot of failed ivf cycles in the middle east and Canada US, I came through this wonderful clinic that made my dream come true..

Based on my experience, I would not recommend this clinic, especially for overseas patients.

You will have very limited contact with doctors—almost all communication goes through coordinators. I appreciate the continuous support from the coordinators but compared to my current clinic at home, where doctors provide regular online consultations, they are reserved and not sure if our communication was sufficient before starting the treatments.

Travel planning from abroad is also difficult, as flight dates can’t be confirmed until just days before egg collection, making costs high.

The most disappointing moment was the embryo transfer. An issue missed in the pre-transfer scan was revealed at the last minute, causing panic and unprofessional communication from the doctor. I was so stressed I couldn’t sleep, and despite transferring a good-quality embryo, the result was negative. A later second opinions (met two experts) found no critical abnormalities, meaning the diagnosis here was wrong.

We came to Newlife with new hope after working with 3 other IVF centers based in Greece where we had felt unseen, unheard and pushed. While each person seeking help in their fertility journey will have very unique needs and obstacles, we found the protocol and staff at this center by far the best. At the intake they were the most thorough on getting all the information regarding our history and health. We also found communication to be prompt, informative, and reassuring at each stage in the process. Their staff is so kind and understanding. I have to say working with so many women was refreshing, and felt they had the best "bed side manner". All the details, instructions, and explanations of our process were openly discussed and allowed for us to feel not only that we were in good hands but also that we had the opportunity to make informed decisions as the patient. I never felt pushed into a procedure or choice. I never experienced a language barrier or "lost in the translation" moments. Their facilities are clean, warm and welcoming. Our concerns were addressed, our questions answered in a timely manner, and throughout the process each step was clearly defined with written instructions. I do not rate a facility based on just my results but on the care and respect shown to me as an autonomous intelligent patient. While looking for success I also understands when there are limitations or further processes needed and these were compassionately explained and offered so that I could then chose my path. This was our last try for a child. And with the help of Newlife IVF we welcomed our baby boy into the world this Spring.
