Romeo was an incredibly fearful and…

Romeo was an incredibly fearful and anxious dog and as a family we reached the end of our tether with his reactive behaviour towards people and other dogs .

The weeks spent with Next Level Dog training have been transformative . Romeo is no longer jumping up at meal times and we are able to sit down as a family in the evenings without him barking at everyone passing the house.

Romeo is walking better on the lead and the training we received at the end of his sessions has helped alot .

I would like to thank the whole team but in particular Luke and Ron who really went the extra mile to gain Romeo’s trust . We were made very welcome and it is nice to know that we can phone at any time for advice.

Thank you so much to Matt and his team for the dedication to improving Romeo’s behaviour

Réponse de Next Level Dog Training

Thank you so much for sharing your experience of Romeo’s residential training stay with us. It was a pleasure to have him here and to see the transformation in his confidence and behaviour over the weeks.

We’re thrilled to hear that the changes — from calmer mealtimes to peaceful evenings — have made such a difference at home. Your commitment to continuing the training we handed over is key to maintaining his progress, and it’s great to know it’s already making an impact.

Luke, Ron, and the whole team really enjoyed working with him and gaining his trust. Remember, we’re always just a phone call away if you need advice in the future.

Thank you again for your kind words — it means a lot to all of us.

Gave my dog a second chance

The whole team at next level were amazing with my 3 year old nervous lab, attentive to his personal needs and listened to my experience with Kobi and tailored a plan best to address his needs. They all were calm and grounding throughout the process and clearly are devoted to their line of work. Justin in particular has been so helpful in supporting me personally, which i’ll be eternally grateful for, following Kobis training when I needed immediate support and he replied to my messages with advice and went out of his way to help navigate a very stressful and upsetting period. I would recommend Next Level and the team to anyone considering residential training 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Great training

Justin and the team looked after our 12-month-old Irish Terrier, Sedric, whilst we were away in Europe. Sedric wasn’t a massive problem but his response to commands was inconsistent and generally reliant on bribery, and he was always pulling to get at other dogs and say hello! He also found it hard to decompress at home.

Our trip was just two weeks in duration, but Justin said that for him to make a difference to Sedric’s behaviours, he would need him for 4 weeks. A week to gain his trust, a week to break down habits and then a couple of weeks to build new habits.

We dropped Sedric off with some concern at how he would handle the whole affair, but we needn’t have worried. Within a couple of hours, we received our first video update, showing Sedric having a ball in the field, chasing toys and clearly settling in straight away. For the time he was with Next Level, we had a video or phone update every two or three days, and Justin phoned for a more-in depth verbal update about half-way through. We were also provided with some beautiful photographs of Sedric ‘on location.’

We picked Sedric up at the end of his ‘holiday’ and were delighted with his renewed focus: he now looks to us for guidance when on the leash and is a much more relaxed dog all round. What we have learned, is that it is not so much physical activity that calms a dog, but mental stimulation and fulfilment (of which walking is just one part). We know that this is just the start but we now feel much better equipped to help Sedric become the model citizen that he deserves to be.

Thanks to everyone who worked with Sedric, especially Chris, who trained him one-to-one.

Skye and Kayla

I have two very active 18 month old Springer Spaniels and following a visit to family was at my wits end with them and knew I had to do something. They were very difficult to walk, reactive to anyone who came near us, barked at everything that moved and all in all a nightmare to handle.
As soon as I spoke with Justin I knew I had found someone who not only knew about dogs but also cared about them. The girls were looked after by Chris who is an absolute miracle worker and they adored him. By the time they came home I could walk them without pulling. It took a few more weeks of walking them separately before they would walk together for me but I can now take them both out and enjoy my time with them. They no longer pull, bark at others or react to other dogs. They are much calmer in the house and no longer jump on the furniture but most importantly they are still the wonderful, lovely dogs they have always been.
I now look forward to taking them out rather than dreading the experience and I can’t thank Chris enough for the miracle he worked on them.

Changing perceptions and behaviours

Most places don't like to take on siblings, but these wonderful people, really worked their magic. Our girls have a nervous nature and were very reactive with other dogs but within 2 weeks of being with Next Level Training, they had them passing other dogs without a murmur. We were totally astonished!
Although we have worked with another great dog trainer, this boot camp for our rescue dogs was the perfect solution to our problem, by having sustained training to break bad habits. Both the dogs, and ours! The staff are so knowledgeable and committed and sent us regular photos or videos of the progress being made. It was like watching Netflix.. we couldnt wait to watch the next episode. We would certainly recommend this company.

A fantastic team of dog trainers - highly recommended

We cannot recommend Next Level Dog Training enough and they really do deserve all the 5 star reviews they get.

From the moment I spoke to Justin on the phone, we had confidence they could help us with our highly reactive 5 year old rescue Chocolate Lab Bailey.

Throughout the time Bailey spent at Next Level we got regular updates with photos and videos on Bailey's progress and got to have two sessions of over an hour each time with Chris (Bailey's main trainer) and Justin to show the both of us the progress Bailey had made and more importantly what we as Bailey's owners needed to do to continue Chris' fantastic work.

It was clear to us every time we met with Chris that he had built an amazing bond with Bailey and that Bailey really listened to what Chris was asking of him. This gave us huge peace of mind that while at the residential training Bailey was happy and enjoying life as at home he is a very happy and goofy lab and we did not want that side of him to change.

After four weeks we've had Bailey back home with us for two days and he is a completely different dog - walks with him are a pleasure rather than being highly stressful and challenging every time. The transformation in his behaviour on the lead is amazing and his reactivity to other dogs is 100 times better than before he went for the residential training.

When we collected Bailey back from Net Level, Justin and Chris explained everything we needed to do to continue the training and encouraged us to reach out anytime with questions and we are planning to do some follow up 1:1 training with Chris to build on all his great work as we know as owners we also need training as well as Bailey !!

Thank you again, Justin, Chris and the rest of the team at Next Level Dog Training.

An amazing team for dog training.

Henry hadn't had the best start in life due to illness therfore missing out on puppy milestones and social interaction. At just under 2 years old this standard wire haired daschund bundle of joy was just not settling in to doggy life. We had a few one to one sessions with Justin and the team before Henry had a 2 week residential stay. The structure, training sessions and positive reinforcement given to Henry gave him a way forward. I was learnt the techniques and gained a better insight into a dogs way of thinking. When Henry returned he was much calmer. I am still following what I was taught and things are gradually improving. We can go a walk now without my arm being pulled off or people staring as Henry was very vocal and liked to jump around in the air. Life is calmer. We still have a way to go yet but I know I can call on Justin or the team for ongoing support. It's not cheap or a quick fix but the benefits we have achieved from this are worth every penny. Don't struggle for months like i did. Give them a call it will be one of the best decisions you make for yourself and your companions.
