Nairnsey Fisher & Lewis Avis 

My review relates to a complaint I raised in June of this year with regard to conveyancing they carry out on behalf of major developers. I have concerns as to conflict of interest. It has yet to even be acknowledged.

My words will simply not do justice to how amazing the team at Nairnsey Fisher and Lewis are. As a first time buyer, naturally I was nervous about the whole process. But the team here, Macey and Charlotte in particular have been nothing short of beyond phenomenal. Isabelle was fantastic and speedy with the changes we needed too.

We did not have an easy case for them at all, we were part-exchanging my partners leasehold flat with 2 extremely tricky and obstructive management companies, but Macey and Charlotte made it so unbelievably easy for us. No question was too silly, no issue too big, no problems at all for them. They explained everything in very easy to read and understand terms, taking time to fully explain further if I couldn't quite grasp it. (Thank you for your patience with me).

Moving and buying a home is hard enough, NFL Legal took such a heavy weight off our shoulders with their incredible work.

We knew we were in safe, caring hands with NFL Legal and we will be forever grateful for your help in assisting with buying our first home together. Thank you all. We have already recommended your works to other people we know and will continue to do so.

Absolutely exceeded our expectations!
We have reservations about appointing a conveyancer that we did not meet in person. That doubt became a thing in the past. We did all the conveyancing process through e-mails and phone calls. It is unbelievable that we have not meet the conveyancing team in person, yet the service they provide and the communication we have from them is like dealing with them face to face. Fantastic overall experience, we used these guys for our move and got everything done our side fast. Brilliant communication from them, answered any and all our questions. While we was shy on chasing most days, they was always kind, professional and polite - shouts to Melanie (our main solicitor) , Macey (special thanks for receiving all my calls), who we had for most of the journey and shouts to Chloe and Nina and rest of the team. We had on many occasion communication issues. Overall our experience was positive. This was mainly due to Tracey Randall and her very professional support and guidance throughout the process of selling our flat and all the problems we had along the way.

Despite many difficulties, they got us through to the other side of the move. Thank you very much for looking after us.

From the moment we commissioned NFL to act on conveyancing for the sale of our property we saw encouraging progress. This was a challenging process for all of us due to issues with Land Registry, however we are in debt to NFL in persisting with finding the solution which enabled us to move forward with our new house purchase in a timely manner. Thanks everyone for your hard work.

My mother who is 85 was advised to use these people by Redrow. We signed the authorisation form and I have power of attorney anyway for money, property and health matters but they refused to engage with us.

My mother has cardiac issues so a stressful move was complicated by the behaviour of this company.

They flagged up the last review for a removal and even tried to dispute monies they took which I have stated we want the full monies back.

Thanks to them although our sale and my remortgage have been ready for weeks the purchase the new solicitor is still doing the work and our sale is now heading for it's 5th month because of the actions of this firm who sent an email which I sent to my email account so have and can provide evidence to Trustpilot at 5pm on 15th May telling us they won't act for us. You can imagine the stress that's caused.

We have missed one exchange date already and will likely miss another this week as well Thanks to them

Go with a local firm They are dishonest and underhand and sly. My opinion which I am allowed to say. Oh and unprofessional anyway and not real solicitors. I believer only the supervisory person is an SRA solicitor the rest are all conveyancers not quite the same and if they ever go bust your money may not be protected.

Aimee Elwood was our key contact. For us the process related to just selling a property with little in the way of difficulties. Aimee managed this process, responding as required in a professional manor without drama. Very pleased, would recommend NFL and will be using them again.

NFL were very quick with all their communication with us and answered every query we had. The process was relatively smooth, but my only complaint would be that we did not receive the final invoice (which needed to be settled before exchange) was only sent at 22:00 the night before exchange.
