A very knowledgeable instructor with personal experience within the close protection arena (still heavily active as a CP Operative), Nick was very comprehensive and patient with his course delivery. He was very articulated, drew on several examples of real world scenarios (video footage examples of what one should/should not do in given situations) backed up by practical exercises. Given the wide spectrum of experience within the group, Nick easily managed to level the field and ensured all students grasped the concepts and assimilated the knowledge. Given my military background and having undertaken various training courses over the 20 plus years, I can wholeheartedly say it was the most enjoyable and delivered course without underrating all my previous instructors. I would undoubtedly highly recommend all potential candidates to be instructed by Nick.

Nick Player clearly knows his stuff. He has an excellent way of making a dry subject interesting and entertaining. I was personally dreading this course as I was completely against it however, SIA demands it so no choice. Nick made it painless and enjoyable and he is an asset to the security industry. Was a great training programme, was very insightful and knowledgeable. Great interaction with the class and trainer and made the course feel very laid back. Coming into a course like this could feel quite stressful and intense but this was a joy.
