Nimbus LLC monthly 'membership' scam

Nimbus LLC has an automatic subscription authorisation for ongoing monthly 'membership' fees embedded into any transaction you complete with them Once you pay for an item you will subsequently be charged a monthly 'membership' fee of about US$36. This was my experience through PayPal. In the process of trying to get the cash back through the PayPal resolution centre. Suggest that after each PayPal transaction you make you then go to Settings, Payments, Automatic Payments and cancel any automatic payments active against the retailers you have listed in your PayPal account.

I wish I could give ZERO stars!

I wish I could give ZERO stars!! Took my daughter's money and never showed up on the day of her move. Can't even count the number of phone calls she made to them that day and since then. She had to extend her lease on her old apartment and rent a truck and moved herself. Nimbus still won't refund her money. Do NOT use this company

This company is horrible

This company is horrible! They lied, overcharged, and we had things that weren’t ours in our stuff. We had a broken chair, dented refrigerator in several places, several glass things broken. They were difficult to get a hold of and were extremely unprofessional when answering any of my questions or claims! DO NOT USE THEM! I promise you will regret it!

Expert movers!

I used this moving company to move my staff. The moving crew do very well the only one item was broken. The overall service is very great and the truck driver is very nice.

Missing and broken furniture

I would not recommend this company to anyone. They were
2 months late delivering my furniture and when they did I was missing 11 pieces of furniture and 3 items were broken. I depend on using these missing items for craft shows and had to miss several shows because of the missing items. I added up what it would cost to replace the missing items and it was $600 and all I received was $175 which will not
replace the missing items.
This company hired a moving company named All In Moving and had them pay me $175 of the $600
and informed me that they were not
going to make good and All In Moving
should take care of this.
Very disappointed with both companies.

DISASTER DESTRUCTIVE UNTRAINED

Sadly this moving experience has been horrible. And Nimbus along with the moving company Azimuth dropped the ball. They can definitely sell there services as platinum and you end up getting dirt that crumbs . 2 moving companies showed up on moving day end of April. This took 2 hrs to resolve. Azimuth was the right company and dealing with them became a mess. Andres at Nimbus in customer service, Mr. SUPERMAN was promising the world t fix the fact that I was treated like crap, my items were taken off the truck and stored in CO when I was assured they would be stored in NC where I could take advantage or a 30 free storage. They took away my free storage on the front by removing my items into a warehouse somewhere in CO. I had and have no problem paying additional money with taking more space but I was accused by Azimuth (will review on their site), of just wanting money. During the last 6 to 7 weeks at times no one could tell me where my stuff was or once found when it would get on the road. I always said I would be using a storage while finding a new home (staying with family). Nimbus promise to see me through the entire move is a lie. All these weeks later, yesterday my items are here and broken bins with blood on them, several missing bins and boxes, which is what happens when people’s stuff is moved from one truck and warehouse several times. Plastic wrap removed from small rolling bins with drawers. Items missing are insured yet that will never replace what they mean to me. Let’s see how this claim process plays out. I just can’t put my disappointment and anger into the right words. The rep that sells you the world never speaks to you once you pay that deposit as I tried to call Micheal as he is a friend of the owners. Maybe if he had answered and helped me talk to the owner things would’ve gone better. It was pass the buck over and over. No empty of the reality that everything I own was in their and their contractors hands and incorrect information was provided and my items were in limbo.

Cancellation

The guys were very helpful. I really wanted the help moving, but quite costly.
They worked on getting a lower price, which I am sure they do for all. They start by giving you a high cost then lower it, thinking you are getting a good deal.
Anyway, I paid for my deposit then changed my mind within 24hrs. I don't like how they dealt with that since I had made the deal on the weekend. Anyway, I was able to get my money back which took over a week.....by check even though I did an ACH and cancelled within 24 hrs. Made no sense.

Do your research. Don't just look at bought reviews.

The friendly voice that we first heard at Nimbus, was Kayla. She made us feel like we could trust her, trust Nimbus..
Unfortunately, we quickly found out that she made errors on our inventory, and the company made us pay for her mistakes. Mitch, at Nimbus whom is from quality assurance told us, "people make mistakes" and offered us no remedy other than that we needed to pay almost $2,000.00 more than our original quoted price in order to continue with the move, and that our initial payment would not be refunded.
He was insulting, rude, arrogant and extremely pushy, involving scare tactics even.
The bottom line is that many of these moving companies that we look up on the internet are not even moving companies at all. They are rather, BROKERS, and they are definitely out to get their piece of the pie just for bringing together the customer & the real movers together.. PLEASE, do your due diligence and make sure the company you are calling are an actual moving company and Not a broker, and a good amount of them are just that, brokers!
ALSO, a reputable moving company will do a in-person inspection of your belongings, or I would hope minimum a video view. Not doing a visual inspection is how they getch'ya! It's a known tactic on how they bump up your price.

I apologize if your moving experience was anything less than satisfactory. We always go above and beyond when it comes to customer satisfaction. We are always upfront about being a moving brokerage. There's a lot of benefits to going with a moving broker. I would also like to point out that Kayla is one of our best Sales reps. She's dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and solid moving estimates. She always makes sure to take her time when explaining how everything works to her customers. With that being said , you were provided a moving estimate based on the inventory list provided by you. At the point of reservation its common for customers to not have the inventory list finalized, because most moves are booked 1-3 months in advance and the inventories tend to change or need to be updated. That's why we have the quality assurance department. Their job is to finalize your inventory and send it to the carrier. During your quality assurance call when Mitch added in all of your additional items. He went over with you the additional space needed to move everything and the cost. You then elected to revert to your original estimate. I was looking at your signed paperwork from pick up and the volume the carrier charged you for was the same as what Mitch advised. Again we apologize for the experience you had. All things considered , this move was a success and delivery was swift. Openly hostile, scam company

They got a wrong number and have continually called and texted me, refusing to take my number off their list. I called them and requested to be removed from their call list and they were openly hostile.

Update: I am still receiving spam calls and texts to my phone. The name they think I have is Jancarla. I called multiple times and each person who answered explicitly refused to take my number off the list and mocked me for even trying. They spoof numbers from multiple area codes and are not open about the company name. Sounds like a scam to me.
