Policy renewal came in the mail & I called to get monthly payment installments set up vs paying annually as I did the year prior. Generated payment through online banking immediately once I got off the phone as that is how I pay all my monthly bills. Long story short, the check got to them 2 days after payment due date (due 3/28, check arrived 3/30) so they COMPLETELY CANCELLED my car insurance & then decided to send me a letter in the mail to let me know I am no longer insured by them which I received a week later! Meanwhile, I'm driving around withOUT insurance!! Apparently, there is no leeway, no friendly reminders, no late processing...NOPE, they just dropped your entire policy over a 2 day delay in payment. Well, idk about you...but that doesn't sit well with me. Not knowing if I have the security of coverage while I'm driving is a NO GO! Also, their customer service is awful, keep you on hold, referring you to different departments which also seem unwilling or uninterested in helping you. Not what I'd want to deal with if I ever got into an accident. Just not a good company at all,
