I had to verify the items were not suppose to arrive frozen and Julian responded to my email very quickly within 30 minutes confirming everything was good to go and I can freeze and use as needed. When you buy premium products having someone to verify everything is as it should be helps me know I got what I paid for. That’s the type of customer service every business should strive to provide. I look forward to ordering more from Nordic catch in the near future.

The fish that I ordered smelled bad. It was not fresh. I had to throw it away the next day because the house smelled awful after I cooked it. Also, it is not wild-caught.

I made nigiri sushi and sashimi with the fresh salmon and ahi tuna. My first time making sushi. The tuna was tasty but it was the never frozen fresh salmon that blew our taste-buds and minds. It was delicious, tender, melt-in-mouth (even though it was raw). My 82 year old neighbor and I have never had salmon this fresh and we are picky about our sushi! At our early morning walk the next day, my neighbor told me he dreamt about the delicious salmon sashimi slices - lol! I checked Ranch99 for their prices for sashimi grade salmon and tuna and it was double your pricing. Thank you for making this a memorable birthday celebration for both of us and affordable too.

The Icelandic salmon is the freshest I've ever had.

All the products from Nordic Catch are so fresh. I order early in the week and when received usually on a Friday it’s absolutely fresh having been swimming in the ocean a couple of days before. I started only buying the fish which is so fresh and flavorful. I have even used it to make sushi. I’ve now started buying their other products including beef, pork, chicken, and most recently the scallops. Everything is so fresh and delicious. Also try the seasoned salts and smoked fish and gravlax. If there are ever any problems with delivery, Julian and his staff are quick to respond and make it right. Fantastic products and a great way to run a business. I can’t wait for my shipment every week.

The salmon is truly amazing - buttery, fresh, not fishy. It's not cheap but it's well worth it!
