I passed my PMHNP boards yesterday!!! This prep-course is well-organized, formatted, and easy to follow. It is self-paced and he does not rush you out of the course. The course focuses on specific information that makes up the questions on the board exam. About 75-80% of the questions from the practice tests were on the board exam WORD FOR WORD! Not only does Dr. Lopes do a wonderful job teaching the content, but his passion, dedication, and energy is unmatched! You can tell he is not in this for any other reason but to help people pass boards. In addition to all of the course content he provides, YouTube videos, and Facebook practice questions, he conducts live sessions to go over the content and allow for questions several time/week. He even makes learning fun by implementing a weekly game to reinforce what you've studied that week. There are so many other perks that come with taking this prep course. I want to sincerely thank you and your team from the bottom of my heart. Today, I received my green checkmark, and it was one of the most emotional moments of my life.
I graduated from my PMHNP program in June 2025, almost a year ago, and life happened. Family members became ill, I was under a tremendous amount of stress, and during that time I also re-enrolled in school for Adult-Gerontology. Trying to balance everything while studying on my own became extremely difficult.
I prayed to God constantly to help guide me toward the right process and the right support system for boards, and somehow He led me to your content on YouTube.
In the beginning, I signed up for the free 7-day program just to see how it was, and I immediately connected with the flow of your teaching. After that, I decided to invest in the full program, and I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I made.
Compared to many other programs out there, yours was not only reasonable, but it felt genuine. You truly pour yourself into your students. You answer questions repeatedly with patience and passion, and your dedication never goes unnoticed. The three live sessions every week, the review classes every 4 to 5 weeks, the crash courses, question banks, diagnostic tests, modules, and YouTube content all became a part of my daily life.
For the past eight weeks, I never missed a class. I listened before work, after work, while driving, and even fell asleep listening to the YouTube videos on my TV. Honestly, just hearing you teach reminded me of being back in an actual classroom again, and that was exactly what I needed after being away from my psych program for so long.
Your passion for teaching, the examples you give, and the emphasis you place on high-yield material made all the difference for me. It helped me organize my thinking and rebuild my confidence.
Today when I saw that green checkmark, I cried over and over again. Tears of relief, gratitude, and joy.
I have been pretty quiet throughout this journey, mostly sitting back and listening, but I needed to take this moment to tell you how much I appreciate you. God led me to your program, gave me the time and strength to study, and through that process I was blessed with success. I would recommend no other program. This works, it is intense and he is invested in it. You can tell from his demeanor.
