AbsolutelyUseless
Really don’t know how they can be dealing with a government back up, wiring like in a different century. Not approving my account because my residential address is not in their system, but happy to accept the big deposit that I can run after and fight for now? Seriously asking me to send all document via post and a cheque? It’s 2026!
Inefficient and broken online
Inefficient and broken online. Been unable to login for months as reset passwords are issued via non exsistent postal system
Website is exhausting
Website is exhausting. Have to log in twice every time. Today tried to give instructions on a maturing bond. Looked easy, select option. Then got called, given security code, entered. Says your instructions have been successful and confirmation will appear on screen. Nope it just crashes out. Twice, exactly to the same. So annoying. Does anyone test these things? Have to ring them now.
RICHY RICH....NSI 100% SAFE.
I've been with NSI for over 30 yrs ,I have 3 accounts with them all online on my phone ,l have no problems with anything,Most customers are probabley having issues because there security codes are not set up properly. It's people trying to cash in old relatives cash that they haven't botherd with for years....you'd have all there details, if you had seen them in last 10 yrs++
You can eventualy get done what you…
You can eventualy get done what you want to do online. But l find their site the worst banking / financial site l use and l use many.
Always logging you out ?
In fact l am so frustrated when using this site, l am slowly winding down all investments with them.
A good way to save
A good way to save, no interest but the chance to win big, I only have small holding but I've won more than I would have made in interest
Great service fantastic way to use website
Great website attentive modern and responsive. I would definitely recommend
Sort yourselves out
Sort yourselves out. Not supporting Samsung Internet in this day and age or Internet Explorer... come on. That must be 30% of your customers.
Your service very best but you
Your service very best but you
Winner consent not right because some people try to lucky and every winner all most 25000 pound up winner but actually need money or lucky parsons low money want to win
NS&I kept me informed all the way…
NS&I kept me informed all the way through from depositing to bond news.
The site is easy to navigate .
Thank you
You'll never get the return that is…
You'll never get the return that is expected. The government or bank lends on credit cards at 30% but if you get 1% that's all. Premium bonds is where you money goes to devalue and die. I'm definitely going to exit and find a better investment.
Completely unacceptable
I do not understand how they can accept my deposit through faster payments but when I request my money it is sent via BACS payment. It is 2026 and this is clearly done to hold customers money without interest for the 3 days. Unfortunately for me the 1st of April fell 2 days before the Easter bank holiday so they will be holding my money without interest for 7 days and that's if I get the money next Tuesday. I will never save with NS&I ever again because of this clear and obvious tactic of keeping people's money without paying interest.
Used to win all the time and now I've…
Used to win all the time and now I've lost month after month. They have changed the odds of winning so im pulling out and investing into gauranteed money. No longer fun to use
Not a good place to store money, a good website or anything else.
I tried signing up to a MS&I account but was unsuccessful they require so much information it was just easier to sign up for a trading 212 account instead they make you jump through so many loop holes you have to actually call someone on the phone to cancel your account how ridiculous is that the website keeps logging me out every time I click buttons they put there and the overall experience was stupid.
Waste of £100 hopefully I’ll get it back soon.
Issue with Premium Bonds Withdrawal Statement
I am writing to address an issue I recently encountered regarding my premium bonds. When I withdrew funds to finance a property purchase, the transaction appears on my bank statement only as a withdrawal amount, followed by a series of numbers and letters that do not indicate the source of the funds. This lack of clarity has created complications with my solicitor, who requires confirmation that these funds originated from my NSI premium bonds before proceeding with the property transaction.
Although, I appreciate that NSI is sending out a statement to clarify this matter, I believe it would greatly enhance the process if bank statements explicitly indicated that withdrawals were sourced from NSI premium bonds.
On a positive note, I want to express that I have not faced any issues with depositing and withdrawing of money through premium bonds.
Financial institution? No, charlatans!
Government run organisation, why did I expect it to be any good? Having previously transferred money to daughter’s JISA (by Faster Payment Deposit), last week (25/3) I deposited a further tranche, using the exact same, embedded, Faster Payment Deposit credentials, but the money has failed to be credited to the JISA. Yesterday, I made a smaller (test) deposit, same methodology, and this has gone through ok, but the larger deposit is still missing. As this missing amount HASN’T been returned to my source account, I suspect that the money is languishing in NS&I bank account waiting to be assigned somewhere. I called the (so-called) NS&I help number and after jousting with (so-called) AI, managed to get through to a curt customer service agent who could do nothing because “the server is down, call back later”. Financial institution? No, charlatans!
Website clunky and chatbot useless
Tried 4 times today to pay money into my wife's account. First time got into site, set up their bank payment system logged into bank account and then got kicked out when I tried to action the payment. Apparently I pressed the back button !!!! Tried later as bank was resetting its clocks ?? This time NS&I site totally failed to send out passcodes despite 2 requests and then re-logging back in. Website is NOT intuitive they expect you to know the 3 lines at top RHS are for login despite there being no text. Chatbot as usual asks all the wrong questions and will not let you talk to an agent. Seems they shut down 30 mins before clocking off time. They need to fire their IT consultants and rework their website, and given the Premium Bonds mess, hire more staff. It's not as if they have not got enough deposits.
Easy to purchase amounts that you want.

Rude customer service and very unhelpful. I am disgusted. Have no ability to actually listen just talk over the top of you mid way sentence which only means one thing..very poor training.
