I have been wearing my CGM for a month and have been seeing my blood levels and that’s been very helpful. But just recently I had my first support call with Rachel, my Nutrisense consultant, and she showed me all the other information that was available on the Nutrisense app and helped me understand the reasons that my blood sugar responds the way it does. and that’s been a game changer for me. Having an awareness is the first step to improving anything and Nutrisense does just that with my glucose levels, it holds the mirror so I can reflect on my actions. With Nutrisense I am able to make the connection between what I feel, and how I react to what I am feeling via food. For example, I had a stressful day Friday, and to sooth my stress I tend to go for carbs, soon after, I get a ding… glucose spike. Before Nutrisense I would’ve carried on spiralling into hrs, days sometimes even weeks, but now I am able to pause and reflect so I can quickly recover in a day or two.
